MOBILE TERMINAL AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a control method therefor. The mobile terminal, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a camera provided to a main body; a display unit for displaying a preview image for the photographing of the camera; and a control unit for detecting the entering into of a subject information search mode while the preview image is being displayed, and in the information search mode, detecting the selection of one search option among a plurality of search options for a subject. In addition, on the basis of a touch input applied to the preview image, the control unit photographs the subject, including an object to which the selected search option is to be applied, and displays, on the display unit, an image of the photographed subject along with a screen where the selected search option is applied.
REAL TIME ANIMATION GENERATOR FOR VOICE CONTENT REPRESENTATION
During a voice conversation, conversationally continuous voice input may be received from at least a first participant of the voice conversation. During the voice conversation, the conversationally continuous voice input may be converted into text, and the text may be analyzed to characterize content thereof. Using a graphical user interface displayed to at least a second participant of the voice conversation, a voice content animation may be rendered that visually represents the characterized content and is repeatedly updated as new content is characterized during the voice conversation.
TERMINAL CONTROLLING DEVICE AND CONTROLLING METHOD USING SAME
A terminal control device has a mode control module for switching an execution mode of a terminal. The terminal control device includes a main control module configured to control driving of the terminal, a receiver sensor installed in the terminal and configured to generate a voltage in response to an external force applied from the outside of the terminal, and a signal processing unit configured to analyze a voltage value generated in the receiver sensor, to process the voltage value into a signal for switching a mode of the terminal, and to transfer the mode switching signal to the main control module.
MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
The present specification provides a mobile terminal in which a display unit can expand, and a control method therefor. In the mobile terminal of the present invention, when an input signal detected by a sensing unit is equal to or larger than a threshold value, an operation that expands or contracts the display unit according to a touch drag direction is performed, thus allowing a user to intuitively control the mobile terminal. Further, there is an advantage in that the mobile terminal can be prevented from being dislodged from the user's hand while the display unit is in the process of expanding.
DIALER HAVING INTEGRATED SCAM PROTECTION
Methods, devices, media, and systems are provided for scam protection. In aspects, a first device transmits an audio or textual communication to a recipient device. The recipient device may display identification data associated with the first device, such as a telephone number, location data, hardware information, and carrier information, for example. The identification data may be compared to authentication identification data and scam identification data stored in a central database and generated from reports from a plurality of user devices to determine an identity of the first device. As such, the recipient device may also display the determined identity of the first device (e.g., “IRS Scam”). Further, the recipient device may display a selectable icon, wherein a selection of the selectable icon causes a transmission of information relating to the identification data or the identity of the first device to a server.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND USAGE CONTROL METHOD
A usage control method, a usage control system, and an electronic device with usage control function are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining a running usage of the electronic device at first predetermined time periods; determining whether the obtained running usage satisfies a trigger condition relevant to anti-addiction measures; and starting anti-addiction measures when the obtained running usage satisfies the trigger condition.
TELEPHONE CALL INFORMATION COLLECTION AND RETRIEVAL
Techniques are provided for telephone call information collection and retrieval. A receiver device receives a telephone call from a caller device. The receiver device collects information associated with the telephone call and stores the information in a memory. Subsequently, the receiver device displays, via a graphical user interface, the telephone number of the caller device. The receiver device receives, via the graphical user interface, a user selection of the telephone number of the caller. In response to the user selection, the receiver device displays, via the graphical user interface, the information stored in the memory, including, for example, the start and end times of the telephone call, the location(s) of the receiver device during the telephone call, and text representing the audio of the call (e.g., speech-to-text conversion of at least a portion of the audio).
WATCH TYPE TERMINAL
A watch type terminal including a main body mountable on part of a user; at least one biometric sensor installed in the main body; and a controller configured to control the biometric sensor to detect a biometric signal of the user, determine target biometric data for the user to be collected based on the detected biometric signal, control the biometric sensor to detect additional biometric signals of the user to collect the target biometric data, and output the target biometric data to the user.
ANIMATED EXPRESSIVE ICON
Embodiments described herein include an expressive icon system to present an animated graphical icon, wherein the animated graphical icon is generated by capture facial tracking data at a client device. In some embodiments, the system may track and capture facial tracking data of a user via a camera associated with a client device (e.g., a front facing camera, or a paired camera), and process the facial tracking data to animate a graphical icon.
Systems and methods for improved call handling
Systems and methods for providing a customizable call handling. The system can include a customizable graphical user interfaces (GUIs) to enable users to reject calls, accept calls, send a customized text message, or place calls on hold when handling one or more incoming calls. The system can enable the user to choose between multiple tabs for call handling. The system can also enable the user to customize where certain features appear in the GUI, including a customizable home screen for frequently user features. The system can enable customized text messaging to differentiate between customers or to differentiate between business and personal contacts. The system can also include machine learning algorithms to customize the GUI based on user's previous actions.
