Electronic device and method for providing information on work and personal life
A method and an electronic device for providing information associated with work and personal life are provided. An electronic device according to various embodiments may include a user interface, a processor electrically connected to the user interface, and a memory electrically connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions which when executed by the processor cause the processor to determine a first zone and a second zone different from the first zone, based on location information and time information of the electronic device, obtain a first time during which the electronic device is located in the first zone and a second time during which the electronic device is located in the second zone, and display information associated with the first time and the second time on the user interface.
Disaster event management
Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for a disaster event management system that can track location of employees and other affected during disaster events and other emergency situations and determine their safety status. The disaster event management system can determine when an emergency event has occurred, and determine which employees are likely to be affected by the emergency, based on their location at the time and other directory information. The system can provide an interface on user equipment devices operated by the employees (e.g., mobile devices, laptops, computers, tablets, etc.) to provide their status along with an identification code to verify their identification. In an embodiment, the system can prompt the user equipment devices to provide a status in response to determining that the employee may be affected by the emergency situation.
Information providing method, information providing system, and information providing device
An information providing method includes acquiring speech information indicating what a user tells an operator through a call, generating voice recognition data indicating a voice recognition result of the speech information by performing a voice recognition process on the acquired speech information, extracting first information on a desire of the user from the generated voice recognition data, acquiring second information associated with the first extracted information, and presenting the second acquired information to a terminal device that is used by the operator.
Contextual preferred response time alert
In an approach for recommending a response time for callback, a processor receives an indication to initiate a callback to a caller after the caller requests the callback from a callee, wherein the callee is a user whom the caller has called. A processor analyzes callback information. A processor determines a callback time based on the callback information. A processor sends an alert about the callback, wherein the alert includes the determined callback time.
User-customized call filtering system and method
A user-customized call filtering system and method for vetting and filtering incoming calls from unwanted callers including robocallers. The system and method includes a user-customized call filter software application hosted on a cloud-based system that communicates with a native call filter application stored on end-user devices including smart phones, over a wired or wireless communication network. The native call filter application includes a host of pages that are selected by and presented to, end-users to customize a blacklist and whitelist with telephone numbers associated with incoming calls that are unwanted and terminated, granted immediate access to end-users, or granted access to end-users based on predefined schedule filters that are defined by geographic location of originating callers, geographic location of end-users, and/or on a particular date, day, and/or time. The system and method includes a dynamic query engine that generates and presents queries to callers associated with unknown and unverified incoming calls to solicit human responses for determining whether such callers are human or likely robocallers.
MOBILE TERMINAL AND COSMETICS AUTOMATIC RECOGNITION SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a cosmetics automatic recognition system capable of recognizing cosmetics located nearby and recommending a make-up method using the recognized cosmetics. The present invention may comprise a mobile terminal including: an RFID reader unit configured to recognize cosmetics through an RFID tag attached to a cosmetic and receive cosmetic information from the recognized RFID tag and from cosmetics having an RFID tag which stores cosmetic information attached thereto; a control unit configured to generate a cosmetics list consisting of at least one cosmetic recognized by the RFID reader unit; and a display unit configured to display the cosmetics list.
MESSAGING SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY GENERATING SEMANTIC CONTEXTUAL MESSAGES
A method for automatically generating a semantic contextual message is provided. The method includes: prompting a user to grant access to a plurality of data sources of the user and to a plurality of contacts of the user; prompting the user to set a preference for each contact listing which of the data sources are shareable with the corresponding contact; monitoring a network for an incoming communication from a caller to the user, and determining whether the user is available to receive the incoming communication; identifying one of the contacts associated with the incoming communication, collecting data from the data sources listed by the preference of the identified one contact, and generating a semantic contextual message based on the collected data, when it is determined that the user is not available; and outputting the semantic contextual message across the network to the caller.
MANAGEMENT OF COMMUNICATION NOTIFICATIONS BASED UPON GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION
Embodiments of the present invention provide notification management across a plurality of electronic communication devices based on the present situational context of the intended communication recipient. Some types of relevant situational context information include the geographic location of the intended recipient, what electronic communication devices they may have in their possession, calendar or schedule information, the presence of other people, the identity of other people present in their vicinity, their relationship to the communication sender, and context information concerning the sender, such as how frequently the sender has attempted to communicate with the intended recipient and news information relevant to the known or assumed location of the sender. Notifications are managed by adjusting which electronic communication devices emit notifications and what type of notifications are emitted.
Systems and methods for curation and delivery of content for use in electronic calls
Systems and methods are described herein for a computer-based communication application that displays, along with an incoming call notification, content specific to the parties involved. The application identifies electronic records of events attended by the users, and retrieves content specific to those records. For example, the application may identify electronic mail or meeting notifications sent between the users and concerning a particular subject matter. Images related to that subject matter are then retrieved and displayed during calls between those users. Users are thus presented with customized and personalized content specific to the subject matter of each call, thus helping them better recognize callers and more readily engage with the call.
MONITORING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A monitoring apparatus that provides multi-level monitoring of personal activities by a user. The monitoring apparatus includes a display, a user interface, a GPS location device, a timer or clock, and wireless or cellular communication transmitters or similar devices. The user designates one or more contacts who will be notified if certain pre-established monitoring conditions are met (e.g., if the user may be in trouble). When the pre-established monitoring conditions are met, the contacts are alerted and notified via phone, email, text, or similar means of communication, or combinations thereof, of the user's location, contact information, and the state that caused the alert and notification.
