Prevention of usage of harmful radio systems of a mobile apparatus in a delimited area
The invention relates to a wireless set, beacon apparatus, method and a computer program product for preventing the use of means that can generate harmful interference in a “prohibition area”. A beacon broadcasts a state signal, specifying prohibition or permission to use potentially harmful means, while its transmission range delimits the prohibition area in which the prohibition applies. A beacon receiver, included in the wireless set which also includes potentially harmful means, is active only in a beacon location area, including at least a fraction of a prohibition area. The beacon location areas are defined and stored in a digital memory of the wireless set. According to the received state signal, the potentially harmful means are induced to a deactivation state or to a regular operation state.
File Sharing Method of Mobile Terminal and Device
A file sharing method includes that a first mobile terminal establishes a connection to a second mobile terminal. The first mobile terminal displays at least two windows. One of the window includes at least one first file stored in the first mobile terminal, the other window includes a file directory of the second mobile terminal, and the file directory includes at least a first folder. The first mobile terminal sends the first file to the second mobile terminal in response to an operation performed by a user on the first file.
Mobile System Including Base Station and Wireless Earbud
The disclosure provides a personal media system including a base station and a wireless earbud. The personal media system interacts with a smartphone for wireless pairing. The base station has a connection hole to receive the wireless earbud. When the wireless earbud is plugged into the connection hole, the base station and wireless earbud form an integrated body.
INCOMING CALL PROCESSING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An incoming call processing method includes: in a case that an electronic device is connected to an external device, receiving an incoming call answering request; displaying an incoming call screen, where the incoming call screen includes a first answering mode icon and a second answering mode icon; and answering an incoming call through the external device if a first input performed on the first answering mode icon is received, and answering the incoming call through the electronic device if a second input performed on the second answering mode icon is received.
MODULAR PERSONAL NETWORK SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Modular personal networks (MPNs) are disclosed that include multiple devices that may be worn, carried, or used in close proximity to a user. The devices communicate wirelessly. Devices include security circuitry that prevents them from being used in a different MPN once the user has configured them. Devices not designed for use within an MPN can be included in the network using a bridge device. Devices can be integrated into items of jewelry, such as earrings, rings, pendants, and bracelets. One item of jewelry, such as a bracelet, can support multiple replaceable modules with variable functions. Functions of the MPN can include communications, entertainment, medical monitoring, sports monitoring, personal organization, and games. Multiple users each with his or her own MPN can use them to collaborate in creation of music. An MPN can be used for mobile recognition and logging of wildlife.
Wireless audio source switching
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless audio source switching. One of the methods includes receiving user input selecting a user interface control corresponding to one of a plurality of paired audio source devices with a wireless audio sink device that is a slave device of a first master/slave connection with a first paired audio source device of the plurality of paired audio source devices. The wireless audio sink device initiates a request to become a master device of a second master/slave connection with a second paired audio source device corresponding to the selected user interface control. The wireless audio sink device sends to the second paired audio source device a request to become a slave device of the second master/slave connection. The wireless audio sink device receives audio input from the second paired audio source device and outputs the received audio input.
System and method for applying a low frequency magnetic field to biological tissues
A system and method for applying a low strength, low frequency magnetic field therapy to biological tissues. A coil is excited with a low frequency oscillating current, e.g., 10-1000 Hz. The coil is, e.g., 5-200 turns, having a diameter of 2-20 mm, and produces a magnetic field strength of about 0.01-5 mTelsa at a distance of 1 cm from the coil, or a cover over the coil, into the tissue. The current is preferably controlled by a smartphone or other programmable device controlled by a downloadable app in accordance with a PEMF program which may be separately downloaded or updated, and may be provided through an audio jack. Alternately, a digital interface and/or wireless interface may control the current. An app on the smartphone may be used to control the frequency, amplitude/envelope modulation, waveform, duration, etc. of the oscillation. The coil may be in mineral housing with a simple filter, and TRRS-type audio jack.
Modular telematics control unit with directional Bluetooth low energy
Example embodiments described herein relate to a modular telematics control unit (TCU) with directional Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and techniques for using the modular TCU with directional BLE. A modular TCU may include a housing configured to couple to a vehicle and a set of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) radios. Each BLE radio is coupled to a corresponding BLE antenna configured for omnidirectional operation. The set of BLE radios and BLE antennas are located within the housing. The modular TCU also includes a heat sink located within the housing and positioned proximate the BLE antennas such that the heat sink limits operation for each BLE antenna to a particular direction extending away from the housing. In some instances, a vehicle computing system may use BLE to detect a device and perform operations based on the location of the device relative to the vehicle.
Communication apparatus and communication method
A desirable connection form in consideration of a radio wave state is caused to be formed among three or more communication apparatuses. Group list information indicating three or more communication apparatuses, including local equipment, that have been set as a group for performing wireless communication is referred to so as to grasp communication apparatuses that have been set as the group. Then, a value indicating a degree of stability of communication between respective communication apparatuses indicated in the group list information is obtained, and a new connection form to which a change is desirably performed is determined by using the value indicating the degree of stability of communication between the respective communication apparatuses. Then, processing is performed for changing a connection state of respective communication apparatuses included in the group to the new connection form.
Electronic device and method for performing function of electronic device
An electronic device is disclosed. The disclosed electronic device comprises: a touch screen display structure; a first wireless communication circuit; a second wireless communication circuit; a stylus pen including at least one button which can be pressed or touched; a processor operationally connected to the touch screen display structure and the first wireless communication circuit; and a memory operationally connected to the processor. A first application program including a first user interface, and a second application program including a second user interface are stored in the memory. The memory has instructions stored therein which are configured to cause, when executed, the processor to: execute the first application program and second application program when a user input is received; display at least one of the first user interface and second user interface by means of the touch screen display structure; receive a first signal, which is generated by the press or touch of the button for a first time period, from the stylus pen through the first wireless communication circuit; select one from the first application program and second application program on the basis of the first signal; change at least part of information displayed on the screen, at least partly on the basis of the selection; receive a second signal, which is generated by the press or touch of the button for a second time period different from the first time period, from the stylus pen through the first wireless communication circuit; and at least partly on the basis of the selection, perform a function of the first application program or a function of the second application program in response to the second signal. Various other embodiments are possible.
