USER TERMINAL, RELAY APPARATUS, AND PROCESSOR
UE (100) supports WLAN communication and WWAN communication. The WWAN communication includes WWAN direct communication which is inter-terminal direct communication in conformity to a WWAN communication standard. The UE (100) applies the WLAN communication to a user plane while applying the WWAN direct communication to a control plane. The UE (100) transmits and receives a control signal through the WWAN direct communication.
Method and apparatus for controlling electronic device
A method for controlling an electronic device includes: responsive to that a starting operation over a controlled electronic device is detected, a target electronic device at a distance that is within a preset distance away from the controlled electronic device is determined; a working mode of the target electronic device is determined; and responsive to that the working mode of the target electronic device is matched with a first preset working mode, a working mode of the controlled electronic device is adjusted to a second preset working mode to avoid interference from the controlled electronic device to use of the target electronic device.
Mobile device display of federated wireless access point networks for 5G or other next generation network
Wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) devices that are not associated with a specific wireless carrier can be contractually operated as an extension of the specific Wi-Fi carrier. In this case, a display screen of a mobile device, that is currently communicating with the Wi-Fi device as an extension of the carrier, can display the carrier info. The display can be a result of a comparison between an internal mobile device data store and/or an external list that comprises the Wi-Fi devices that are acting as extensions of the carrier for a 5G network.
Extending Use of a Cellular Communication Capabilities in a Wireless Device to Another Device
Extending cellular telecommunication service from a first UE to another device. The first UE may register for cellular telecommunication service with a cellular network using a first cellular service account, using a cellular communication link via a cellular radio. A second device may be discovered and a communication link may be established between the first UE and the second device. The second device may be registered to use cellular telecommunication capability provided by the first UE. Communications between the second device and the cellular network may be conveyed via the communication link between the first UE and the second device and the cellular communication link. Conveying communications between the second device and the cellular network may provide use of the first cellular service account for cellular telecommunication service to the second device.
TERMINAL OPERATING MODE ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure discloses a method for regulating a working mode of a terminal. The method includes that: acquiring an environmental information parameter, determining a preferred working mode of the terminal according to the environmental information parameter, and switching to the preferred working mode. The present disclosure also discloses a device for regulating a working mode of a terminal.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF
A method of operating a display device includes displaying a first image of first content, wherein the first image includes a target object, receiving information on a second coordinate of the target object included in a second image of the first content from a second display device, wherein the second image is temporally later than the first image, acquiring an image tracking the target object from the second image based on the information on the second coordinate of the target object, and displaying the acquired image.
Techniques for discovery of wi-fi serial bus and wi-fi docking services
Techniques are disclosed to automatically connect a mobile device to an external display or wireless dock by establishing a bi-directional link between the mobile device and the external display or wireless dock, receiving an image captured by the external display or wireless dock via the bi-directional link by the mobile device, and evaluating the image by the mobile device to verify that the external display or wireless dock is the intended external display or wireless dock with which to connect to the mobile device.
Mobile device tracking prevention method and system
A mobile device tracking prevention method and system includes monitoring a mobile device for movement, determining whether an operating state of a wireless module of the mobile device should be adjusted when movement of the mobile device is detected, and controlling the operating state of the wireless module based on the determination. One or more of the actual geographic location of the mobile device, network IDs broadcasted by nearby network access points, and signal strengths of the access points as detected by the mobile device can be monitored to detect movement of the mobile device. Changes to any of these may be indicative of movement of the mobile device, which may serve as the basis for enabling or disabling the wireless module to prevent tracking of the mobile device without sacrificing user productivity.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for establishing communication between a terminal and a device are disclosed. According to certain embodiments, a method used in the device includes receiving a plurality of multicast packets from the terminal. The method also includes determining, according to the multicast packets, wireless connection information of a wireless network. The method further includes connecting to the wireless network according to the wireless connection information. The method further includes generating a notification indicating a password associated with the device.
Activating A Connected Flight Mode
In general, the subject matter described in this disclosure can be embodied in methods, systems, and program products for determining, by a mobile computing device while a cellular connection mode remains activated and a second wireless connection mode remains activated, that a sensor of the mobile computing device has detected information indicating that the mobile computing device is located on an airplane. The mobile computing device transitions, in response to having determined that the sensor has detected information indicating that the mobile computing device is located on the airplane, the mobile computing device into a connected flight mode, including by terminating the cellular connection mode while allowing the second wireless connection mode to remain activated.
