KEYPAD
A keypad is provided in the present invention. The keypad includes a keypad shell and a keypad circuit board provided within the keypad shell. The keypad shell is provided with at least two subscriber identity module (SIM) card sockets and a first communication module connected to the SIM card sockets and configured to access the Internet. A SIM card switch is provided between the first communication module and the SIM card sockets. Compared to the prior art, the present invention enables, by means of providing the keypad with the at least two SIM card sockets and the first communication module supporting all major operators, the keypad to access the Internet when connected to a mobile terminal, and ensures uninterrupted Internet data access by switching to a SIM card of a different operator when the SIM card of the current operator has weak reception.
TECHNIQUES TO PROVIDE PHYSICAL TRANSACTION CARD CABILITIES FOR A MOBILE DEVICE
Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques to enable use of a transaction card of a user device to perform transactions. Embodiments may include method, techniques, and circuitry to cause a transaction card to extend from a user device to be used to perform the transactions. Further, the transaction card may retract into the housing the user device when not in use.

Mobile terminal and method involving near field communication
Disclosed herein is a mobile phone with the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology and method of operating the mobile phone. The mobile phone includes a display; a baseband chip; a near field communication (NFC) module comprising an RF antenna, an NFC tag circuit and an NFC main chip; and the RF antenna configured to receive incoming RF signals.
TECHNIQUES FOR CALL AUTHENTICATION
Various embodiments described herein are directed towards authenticating calls by using one or more keys associated with a specific user. In examples, the user is the sender of a call. In various embodiments, when a call is made, an identifying payload is encrypted using a private key associated with the user. The encrypted identifying payload is appended to the call data stream. The identifying payload may be decrypted with a public key. In embodiments, the identifying payload may be verified. In various embodiments, further authentication methods may be performed by using an object such as a contactless card to provide one or more components of the identifying payload and/or keys. In embodiments, a connection may be made between the sender and the intended recipient of a call based on the verification of the identifying payload.
Pairing a payment object reader with a point-of-sale terminal
In some examples, a system and method for pairing a payment object reader with a point-of-sale (POS) terminal is described herein. The method includes determining, by a wireless transceiver, a first value of signal strength corresponding to a current position of the payment object reader and a second value of signal strength corresponding to a new position of the payment object reader. The POS terminal then identifies the first wireless device as an intended candidate for pairing with the second wireless device based on variation in signal strength from the first value of signal strength to the second value of signal strength. Accordingly, the POS terminal establishes a wireless communication channel between the POS terminal and the payment object reader device for exchange of information. Once paired, the payment object reader allows the POS terminal to accept payments from a customer.
Card tray opening/closing mechanism, card tray, mobile phone, and card tray opening/closing method
A card tray opening/closing mechanism, used for shifting a card in or out of a slot of a mobile phone body. The card tray opening/closing mechanism comprises a transmission assembly and a micro motor; the micro motor is fixedly connected in the mobile phone body, and is used for communicationally connecting to the mobile phone body. The micro motor is connected to the transmission assembly; the transmission assembly is used for connecting to the card tray body; and the micro motor can shift the card tray body in or out of the slot by means of the transmission assembly.
Telescopic mechanism
A telescopic mechanism includes a mounting base, a telescopic block received within the mounting base, and a pushing rod received within the mounting base. The telescopic block is vertically arranged in the mounting base, and the pushing rod is horizontally arranged in the mounting base. The telescopic block defines a guiding channel. The pushing rod passes through the guiding channel. The pushing rod is driven through the guiding channel to cause the telescopic block to extend or retract relative to the mounting base.
