Devices and methods of providing response message in the devices
A device includes a communication unit configured to receive a call request from a calling user; and a control unit configured to control the communication unit to provide a response message including information about a current situation based on information about an application currently being executed to the calling user in response to a rejection regarding the call request.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INCREASING SOCIAL PHONE CALLS BETWEEN THE YOUNG AND ELDERLY
The invention allows people to impose their will on how their friends/family members socialize with one another. Incentives can vary from cash to simply challenging one party to do the right thing. For example, a middle-aged mother wants her daughter to call her grandmother more often. The invention provides a new way the mother can request, incentivize, and validate the phone calls her daughter makes to her grandmother.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF AUTOMATED VALIDATION OF ELECTRONIC DATA VIA A USER INTERFACE
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a system for obtaining electronic data from a network server accessible. The system comprises a communication device to electronically access an automated phone system via a telephone number and a memory circuit that stores a configuration file and a log file. The system further comprises a processor that identifies a record that includes a unique identifier for an entity and data to compare with corresponding data from the automated phone system. The processor is further configured to access and navigate the phone menu based on the configuration file and input a unique sequence of digits based on the instructions in the configuration file. The processor is also configured to obtain an audio message from the automated phone system, convert the audio message to a corresponding text message, and determine whether the corresponding text message indicates an error or includes the corresponding data.
Portable terminal device, incoming call history display method, and program
In a portable terminal device, it is possible to display information of caller and the like when a call is received. Incoming call signal reception means (11) receives an incoming call signal including a caller number, caller information, and ring type information. Image generation means (12) generates, based on the incoming call signal, a caller information image including at least a portion of the caller information as character information. Telephone dictionary registering means (13) registers the caller number, caller text information, and the caller information image in a telephone dictionary (14). Incoming call screen display means (15) receives the caller number and acquires the registered caller text information and the caller information image corresponding to the received caller number from the telephone dictionary (14). Incoming call screen display means (15) displays an incoming call screen including the caller text information and the caller information image.
System and method for enabling voice and video communications using a messaging application
A method and system are provided for enabling voice communications via a messaging application. The method comprises enabling an instant messaging (IM) presence status option to be selected; and blocking an incoming voice communication when the presence status option has been selected. A method and system are also provided comprising displaying a first instant message in an instant messaging conversation user interface comprising call status information; and displaying updated call status information in the instant messaging conversation user interface after determining whether an call attempt has been successful.
Apparatus, devices, methods and computer programs relating to actionable objects
A method and system are disclosed for enabling a telephone call to be made an actionable object and enabling that actionable object to be updated. The user device may have a graphical user interface on which the phone call is presented as an actionable object. The user device may be the same device (e.g. a smartphone) on which the call was made and/or may be a separate device (e.g. a desktop or laptop or tablet computer or the like). The data received by the computer apparatus may be for example one or more of start time of the call, end time of the call, duration of the call, telephone number of the third party, location of the user and call disposition.
Providing a unified communication history of a multi-modal communication
Methods are provided for providing a unified communication history of a multi-modal communication. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a plurality of event logs related to the multi-modal communication. The multi-modal communication comprises a first communication modality and a second communication modality. The method includes aggregating the one or more events from the event logs as a plurality of aggregated events and resolving an identity of each user from among the plurality of users in the plurality of aggregated events. The method includes storing the aggregated events into a communication history of the multi-modal communication. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.
Electronic device and method for synchronizing call logs
A plurality of electronic devices can share a single phone number with each other. One of the electronic devices includes a display, a communication circuit, a processor operatively connected to the display and the communication circuit, and a memory operatively connected to the processor and configured to store a plurality of call logs. The memory stores instructions causing, when executed, the processor to receive a call request via the phone number, to transmit a first call log associated with a missed call to a server in response to a stopped reception of the call request, to receive a first response signal regarding transmission of the first call log from the server, to store the first call log in the memory, based on the first response signal, to receive a push signal from the server, and to update the first call log stored in the memory, based on the push signal.
PERSONNEL CONTACT HISTORY RECORDING METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A personnel contact history recording method executable by an electronic device, comprising: scanning surrounding devices via Bluetooth by a preset time interval; requesting a device name and an IMSI of the scanned device, when at least one device is scanned, and generating a surrounding phone list according to the scanned devices; comparing the surrounding phone list with a daily list to determine whether the devices recording in the surrounding phone list are recorded in the daily list; and, if at least one device recording in the surrounding phone list is recorded in the daily list, sending a warning message to the electronic device and a server.
HANDS-FREE APPARATUS, DATA TRANSFER METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
A hands-free apparatus includes a memory, and a hardware processor coupled to the memory. The hardware processor is configured to: perform a hands-free connection process of connecting to a mobile phone by using a hands-free communication protocol for performing a hands-free phone conversation; perform a first data transfer process of making a first connection with the mobile phone by using a data transfer protocol for transferring phone data related to phone, and causing the phone data to be automatically or manually transferred from the mobile phone; and depending on a status of a different data transfer process than the first data transfer process, perform transfer control related to transfer by at least one of the first data transfer process and the different data transfer process.
