Display apparatus
Disclosed herein is a display apparatus having a slim display body to display pictures. Main components, such as a switching mode power supply and a main board, are disposed in a base unit, and a drive board mounted to a display module is connected to the switching mode power supply and the main board such that power is supplied to the display module and the main board transmits and receives a control signal. The base unit serves as a stand to support the display body below the display body. Also, the base unit is fixed to the rear of the display body to mount the display apparatus to a wall. A connection unit to connect the display body and the base unit is provided to change the position of the base unit. The connection unit is hingedly rotatable with respect to the display body and the base unit.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND MEDIA FOR PROJECTING LIGHT TO INDICATE A DEVICE STATUS
Systems, methods, and media for projecting light to indicate a device status are provided. In accordance with some implementations of the disclosed subject matter, systems for projecting light to indicate a device status are provided, the systems comprising: a hardware processor that: determines a light status; determines whether to turn a light source on; selects a light format corresponding to the light status; projects light of a light source according to the light format; and determines whether to turn the light source off.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE
A head-up display device includes: a cover having a light-transmissive light exit part; a first case mating with the cover and having a light entry part for entry of display light and a housing part housing a reflecting member; a light source unit outside the housing part; and a second case covering the light source unit and fastened to the first case. The device has a heat radiator of higher rigidity than the second case, having a wall part that externally projects from the housing part through the intervening light entry part, the light source unit affixed to the wall part to diffuse the heat from the light source unit; and includes a mating part in which the second case and the wall part mate together, the second case fastened to the heat radiator at locations to either side of the mating part.
DISPLAY UNIT
A display unit (1) includes a transparent plate (11) and a display body. The transparent plate has a first surface and a second surface that are opposite to each other, and is disposed to allow substantially an entire region of the first surface to be exposed. The transparent plate has a curved shape that is bent in an arc shape in a first direction. The display body is joined to side of the second surface of the transparent plate to follow the curved shape.

IMAGE GENERATION APPARATUS AND IMAGE GENERATION METHOD
A panorama image processing unit generates a wide viewing angle image like a panorama image which is seen from a given point of view. An image conversion unit converts the generated wide viewing angle image into an image of a transmission format in which the angular resolution which is a number of pixels per unit angle centered at the point of view is adjusted in response to a ray direction toward the point of view. An image provision unit transmits the image in the transmission format in which the angular resolution is adjusted to a head-mounted display unit. The head-mounted display unit converts the received image so as to conform the image to an optical characteristic of a device and displays the image on the device.
Display device
A display device includes a display screen and a frame disposed around the display device, an infrared receiver and a light guide member, wherein the light guide member has a securing surface through which the light guide member is secured to the frame, the light guide member further including a receiving end and a light exiting surface, the receiving end formed at a display side of the display device, a width of the receiving end in a direction perpendicular to the frame to which the light guide member is secured is narrower than a width of the light exiting surface in the direction. Only a narrower portion of the light guide member can be seen when a human being looks at the display device, thus improving display effect of the narrow frame of the display device.

Bag computer vertical operating position holder
Disclosed is a bag using a flexible fabric attachment flap as a hinge to pivotally attach the display panel to the outside top front area of the bag. For holding a display panel angle relative the bag front, the flexible fabric hinge includes a free section allowing an extension of the display panel to be used as a prop to hold the panel's angle. So that the display panel may be viewed by the bag wearer over the top end of the bag (vertical operating position) the bag may include a holder, for example an elastic band, to hold the bottom end of the display panel in a vertical position for viewing. The bag may include an operator body interface at the bag's bottom to stabilize the bag on the operator's body front and hold the display panel in viewing position.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME
In one embodiment of the present invention, a display device is provided, the display device comprising: a body including a display module that outputs images; one or more lights positioned behind the body; and a control unit, wherein the control unit determines whether the display module is in operation and identifies the shape of the display module.
