Display apparatus, display system, moveable body, and display method
A display apparatus includes an image projector and a controller. The image projector emits image projection light that projects an image onto a projection-target surface. The controller controls, in a time division manner, the emission direction of the image projection light emitted by the image projector. The controller performs control to prevent the sum of the area of one or more regions of the projection-target surface, on which the image projection light is projected, from exceeding a predetermined upper limit.

VIRTUAL EXHIBITION SPACE PROVIDING METHOD FOR EFFICIENT DATA MANAGEMENT
Provided is a virtual exhibition space providing method for efficient data management. The method comprises the steps of: displaying, on a screen, a space image in which an exhibition space including multiple wall surfaces is expressed in three dimensions; receiving a first user's selection of a particular wall surface among multiple wall surfaces on the space image; displaying, on a screen, a wall surface image of the particular wall surface, in which the particular wall surface is expressed in two dimensions; receiving a command of the first user which causes at least one work image having a particular size to overlap and be arranged at a particular position on the wall surface image; generating a snapshot image of the particular wall surface in which the at least one work image overlaps and is arranged on the wall surface image; and transmitting, to a server, identification information of the particular wall surface, the snapshot image, and the at least one work image.
Three-dimensional display apparatus, head-up display system, and mobile body
A three-dimensional display apparatus includes a display panel and an optical element. The display panel includes a display surface. The display surface extends in a first direction, extends in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The first direction corresponds to a parallax direction of user's eyes seeing an image. The display surface curves around a central axis extending in the second direction. The display surface includes subpixels arranged in a grid pattern in the first direction and the second direction within the display surface. The optical element is arranged along the display surface, and the optical element includes strip-shaped regions, each of which extends in a certain direction. The optical element is configured to define a beam direction of image light emitted from the subpixels. The display surface forms an arc in a cross-section that is orthogonal to the second direction. A position of an eye box, in the first direction, is set to a position within a distance r sin from the center of the arc. The r represents a diameter of the arc. The represents an angle formed by a linear line connecting between a first direction edge of the display panel and a center of the arc and a linear line connecting between a first direction center of the display panel and the center of the arc viewed in the second direction. The eye box is an acceptable range of a position of the user's eyes when the user sees the image.
Method of aligning two separated cameras matching points in the view
A method and system are provided to calibrate multiple camera devices to perform multi-camera tracking of one or more objects. The method and system identifies one or more common (or matching) calibration points on both of a first image or video stream captured by a first camera device and a second image or video stream captured by a second camera. Each of the one or more common calibration points are in a field of view of the first and second camera devices. The method and system further determines coordinate information for the first and second camera devices from the one or more common calibration points, and evaluates the coordinate information to determine alignment parameters, which reflect a location and orientation of the second camera device relative to the first camera device.

Three-dimensional displays using electromagnetic field computations
Methods, apparatus, devices, and systems for three-dimensional (3D) displaying objects are provided. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining data including respective primitive data for primitives corresponding to an object, determining an electromagnetic (EM) field contribution to each element of a display for each of the primitives by calculating an EM field propagation from the primitive to the element, generating a sum of the EM field contributions from the primitives for each of the elements, transmitting to each of the elements a respective control signal for modulating at least one property of the element based on the sum of the EM field contributions, and transmitting a timing control signal to an illuminator to activate the illuminator to illuminate light on the display, such that the light is caused by the modulated elements of the display to form a volumetric light field corresponding to the object.
