Ultraviolet ray irradiation device and ultraviolet ray blocking unit

To provide an ultraviolet ray irradiation device by preventing leakage of ultraviolet rays from an insertion opening through which a hand on which a glove is mounted is inserted into a sterilization chamber. The device includes: an ultraviolet ray blocking balloon disposed in an insertion opening; a pressurized gas supplying and discharging device which supplies a gas under pressure to the balloon and discharges from it; an insertion depth detection unit which outputs an insertion hand depth detection signal; a controller of an ultraviolet ray irradiation and a pressurized gas supplying and discharging, wherein the balloon forms an opening which allows an insertion and a removal of the hand before the gas is supplied, and it is inflated with the supply of the gas so as to be brought into close contact with a wrist portion of the glove, and it is deflated with a discharge of the gas.

Ultraviolet ray irradiation device and ultraviolet ray blocking unit

To provide an ultraviolet ray irradiation device which, when an operator inserts a glove to the device, prevents irradiation of ultraviolet rays to the outside thus further enhancing safety. An ultraviolet ray irradiation device includes: a sterilization chamber housing having an insertion opening through which a hand on which a glove is mounted is inserted into a sterilization chamber; an ultraviolet ray irradiating unit which irradiates ultraviolet rays to the chamber; ultraviolet ray blocking elastic bodies disposed so as to traverse an insertion direction of the hand, and allowing the hand to penetrate the elastic bodies; and a frame body supporting peripheral edge portions of the stacked elastic bodies. A plurality of cuts are radially formed in the elastic bodies. A plurality of elastic members are formed between the cuts. The respective elastic bodies are mounted on the frame body such that the cuts are displaced from each other.

A mobile disinfection device (200) includes a disinfection chamber (203) coupled to a propulsion system (228) configured for moving along a surface (236) to be disinfected. The disinfection chamber defines a closed distal end (205), an open proximal end (206) and a surrounding wall (207) impervious to the radiation and having opposing front and rear portions and opposing side portions, respective proximal front, rear and side edges of which are propelled by the propulsion system close to the surface to be disinfected. A radiation source (260) is mounted inside the disinfection chamber for irradiating the surface through the open proximal end. The propulsion system includes a peripheral seal (304) surrounding a proximal edge of the wall and configured to obstruct radiation that might otherwise escape from inside the disinfection chamber.

APPARATUS FOR SANITISING PRODUCTS

An apparatus for sanitising products comprising a housing comprising a bottom portion, interior walls an external portion and doors a pair of support beams, a plurality of internal conveyor belts, at least one UV-C light connected inside the housing, a first opening adapted to allow products to enter the housing for sanitisation and a second opening adapted to allow products to exit the housing after sanitisation.

UV DISINFECTION OF HIGH-TOUCH SURFACES

Disinfecting devices (100) can include an electromagnetic wave emitting device (EWE device 110) configured to emit UV radiation (115) and a light guide (120) having a front surface (121). The light guide can be configured to distribute UV radiation received from the EWE device across the front surface and be partially transmissive of visible light. UV radiation received by the light guide and distributed across the front surface can function to disinfect the front surface. The device may be configured such that when positioned between a use device (140) and a user (150), the use device is observable through the disinfection device. Methods for disinfecting may similarly include emitting UV radiation into a light guide, reflecting and diffusing UV radiation within the light guide across the front surface of the light guide thereby disinfecting the front surface; and receiving an interaction with a use device through the disinfection device via the front surface from a user.

Apparatus for Disinfecting Objects or Solids, Preferably Pieces of Protective Equipment, and Its Use

The invention relates to an apparatus for disinfecting, in particular sterilizing, objects or solids, preferably pieces of protective equipment, in particular protective masks or protective clothing, with a treatment chamber for receiving one or more objects or solids, preferably one or more pieces of protective equipment, with a closable airlock through which objects or solids, preferably pieces of protective equipment, can be introduced into the treatment chamber and/or removed from the treatment chamber and with a generation unit for generating reactive species in a gas stream. The generation unit includes discharge means configured to generate an electrical discharge in the gas stream. The generating unit is arranged such that the gas stream, during operation, passes from the generating unit into the treatment chamber. The invention further relates to a use of the apparatus.
