Sanitizing cup
A sanitizing cup that is advantageously used in a vehicle interior. The sanitizing cup includes a cup base and a sanitizing compartment extending at least partially from the cup base. The sanitizing compartment has a sanitizing area which can be used to sanitize an object, such as a user's face mask. The sanitizing cup also includes a hand sanitizer dispenser extending at least partially from the cup base, from the sanitizing compartment, or from both of the cup base and the sanitizing compartment. A combined hand and mask sanitizing cup provides enhanced in-vehicle disinfection capabilities.
Multi-chamber medical waste ozone-based treatment systems and methods
Ozone-based methods and systems for treatment of solid waste that contains pathogens, and requires apparent volume reduction, include using dual treatment chambers, lift transporters that cascade the preliminarily treated solid waste, and agitation within the second (high ozone concentration) treatment chamber. The steps include feeding solid waste into a shredder chamber to reduce its apparent volume; and then to a first treatment chamber for preliminary ozone molecular interaction with the solid waste, and to a second treatment chamber with an agitator, via at least one lift transporter, to both cascade and agitate to enhance efficacy.
CONTAINER, CLOSURE LID, AND VESSEL FOR TRANSPLANT OBJECTS, AND METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PROVIDING THREE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE DATA AND FOR STERILIZING A TRANSPLANT OBJECT
The invention relates to a container (1) for holding a transplant object (2) and to a closure lid (4) and a vessel (3) for such a container (1). To facilitate an improved and reliable analysis and treatment of transplant objects (2), the intention being to implement particularly sparing handling, which is also protected against environmental influences, of the transplant object (2), it is proposed that the container (1) be transmissive for radiation that facilitates radiological imaging and/or a sterilization by means of ionizing radiation of the transplant object (2) held in the container (1) and that the closure lid (4) and/or the vessel (3) have one or more affixment structures (5) for fastening the transplant object (2) in the container (1). Moreover, a method and a system for providing three-dimensional structure data of a transplant object are proposed, by means of which the information obtained by the analysis is rendered better usable for medical staff. Moreover, a method and a system for sterilizing a transplant object (2) by means of ionizing radiation are described.
MULTIMODAL AUTOMATED DISINFECTING SYSTEM
A system and method are defined for disinfection of the structure, contents and included air in large volume enclosures such as mass transit vehicles, transport containers, warehouses, and retail sales or gathering locations to reduce the risk of transmission of contagious biological agents, particularly bacterial and viral agents. Various embodiments provide effective sanitizing actions accommodating differing local circumstances and obstacles. Safety interlock mechanisms, procedural steps and communications means ensure safe operations around humans and animals. The system includes a method for measuring environmental conditions to ensure a safe re-entry state.
Sterilization test device
A sterilization process test device for verifying the efficacy of a sterilization process includes a tubular body defining a chamber for containing at least one sterilization indicator and a cap to sealingly close the tubular body. The tubular body includes at least one hole, which is covered by a gas and steam permeable cover. The only flow path into the chamber is provided through the steam and gas permeable cover and the at least one hole, which when combined are configured to control and restrict a flow of steam or a gaseous sterilization medium from an external environment.
IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO DISINFECTION OF OBJECTS
A disinfection apparatus for disinfecting an object is disclosed. The disinfection apparatus comprises at least one disinfection unit operable to perform a disinfection operation on the object to be disinfected, an outer casing and at least one actuating door. The outer casing and the at least one actuating door define a disinfection compartment. The apparatus includes at least one position sensor for detecting the presence of an object to be disinfected having been positioned within the disinfection compartment, at least one obstruction sensor operable to detect whether at least a first safety zone is clear, and a central control unit, the central control unit being operable to control operation of the at least one actuating door, the at least one position sensor, the at least one obstruction sensor, and the at least one disinfection unit.
UVC Sanitizing Bag
The UVC sanitizing bag is a device intended to help with eliminating harmful bacteria and viruses from various solid products. In order to accomplish this, the device includes a bag base that ensures the bag can stay charged and hold various products. Further, the bag lid ensures the product placed within the device can be exposed to UVC lights from multiple directions. Additionally, the plurality of bag handles and bag pockets provide the user with additional functionality and storage. Further, a plurality of boards and shelves are designed to allow multiple storage levels which can be created within the UVC sanitizing bag and ensure the bag retains its overall shape. Thus, the device is a bag that can sanitize any solid product placed within, quickly and efficiently by utilizing UVC lights and ensures the safety of the user throughout the process.
PLASMA TREATMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD USING SAME
The present disclosure relates to a plasma treatment apparatus and a method using the same, and more particularly, to a plasma treatment apparatus for applying, to a target object, such as a biomaterial, characteristics (e.g., removal of organic materials, crosslinking reaction, etching reaction, structural change by surface chemical reaction, sterilization effect, wettability, adhesiveness, bondability, color compatibility, surface reinforcement, modification of surface heat resistance, sterilization, removal of harmful proteins/bacteria, etc.) according to plasma treatment, and a method using the plasma treatment apparatus.
