The disclosure relates to a microbicidal composition with excellent action of limiting a decrease in durability of synthetic adhesives as well as high microbicidal action. The microbicidal composition contains 0.03 to less than 1.0 mass % of peracetic acid, 0.045 to less than 1.5 mass % of hydrogen peroxide, and 0.036 mass % or more of glycine.
AUTOMATIC MATTRESS STERILIZATION DEVICE
Provided is an automatic mattress sterilization apparatus configured to sterilize a mattress, including a frame extending in one direction and on which the mattress is placed, a sterilization part coupled to an upper portion of the frame and having an inner space through which the mattress passes, and a moving part provided in the frame and configured to move the mattress placed on the frame, and the mattress is moved from one side of the sterilization part to the other side of the sterilization part via the inner space of the sterilization part by the moving part.
Multi_use disinfecting cap and method
A multi-use disinfecting cap and method for disinfection and protection of a needleless IV injection port. The disinfecting cap has an upper chamber which contains a sterilizing solution and a low chamber which connects to a needleless IV injection port. The fluid can be manipulated to flow between the two chambers. When in use the cap protects and disinfects a needleless IV injection port when exposed prior to injecting medication into the needleless port and continues to disinfect and protect prior for any subsequent exposures. The cap is re-usable and provides a clear indication of the disinfecting solution and a datable top surface. The multi-use disinfecting cap may be removably clipped to the IV tubing and is shaped to prevent accidental rolling away if dropped.
X-RAY IRRADIATION REAL TIME DOSE MEASUREMENT/MONITORING
A product sterilization system includes a vault, a source of X-rays in the vault producing a field of X-rays in a treatment zone, a conveyance delivering products to the treatment zone for irradiation by the field of X-rays, a first X-ray detection subsystem in the treatment zone between the products and the source of X-rays, a second X-ray detection subsystem in the treatment zone behind the products, and a controller subsystem responsive to the first X-ray detection subsystem and the second X-ray detection subsystem and configured to determine an X-ray dose absorbed by the products.
Systems, cabinets and methods for disinfecting objects
Methods are provided that include positioning a disinfection apparatus in proximity to a cabinet, wherein the disinfection apparatus has a base supporting a germicidal source and the base includes components operationally coupled to the germicidal source for operating the germicidal source. The method further includes inserting the germicidal source into the cabinet such that at least a portion of the base is retained exterior to the cabinet and is operationally coupled to the germicidal source. Moreover, the method includes placing one or more items into the cabinet, closing the cabinet with the germicidal source and the one or more items in the cabinet and the base of the disinfection apparatus exterior to the cabinet, and then subsequently starting the disinfection source such that the germicidal source emits a germicide into the cabinet. Systems and cabinets used to conduct the aforementioned methods are also provided.
UV-C sterilization apparatus and method
A UV-C sterilization apparatus for a confined space having a closure which can be selectively positioned between a closed position, wherein the confined space is fully enclosed, and an opened position, wherein the confined space is accessible from an exterior thereof. The apparatus comprises means for connecting the apparatus to a power source to provide operating power to the apparatus and a housing dimensioned to fit within the confined space. The housing supports at least one sensor operative to detect when the closure is in the closed position and/or when the closure is not in the closed position; at least one source operative to emit UV-C light for irradiating the confined space; and a controller. The controller is connected to the at least one sensor and the at least one UV-C light source, and is operative to: determine when the closure is and is not in the closed position; activate the at least one UV-C light source to irradiate the confined space for a first fixed period of time when it is determined that the closure has gone to the closed position from not being in the closed position; periodically activate the UV-C light source to irradiate the confined space for at least a second fixed period of time, the periodic activation occurring following the first fixed period of time for so long as the closure remains in the closed position; and prevent the at least one UV-C light source from irradiating the confined space when it is determined that the closure is not in the closed position.
Sterilizing apparatus for input devices of computers
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a sterilization apparatus. The sterilization apparatus includes a housing. A drawer is slidably secured to the housing and adapted to receive input devices. The drawer is configured to operate between a retracted position, an intermediate position and an extended position. A plurality of ultraviolet (UV) lights is mounted within the housing and configured to emit UV radiation for a pre-determined time for sterilizing the input devices. A closure member is movably coupled to the housing. The closure member is operated between an open position and a closed position by manually applying force on the closure member, thereby causing the closure member to be pushed down by a distance within the housing. The closure member pushed down within the housing collectively operates a hinge mechanism, a cam and lever mechanism and a rotary mechanism, thereby configuring the closure member to the open and position positions.
Locker system for storage and delivery of packages
A modular system of locker banks for receipt and delivery of packages is described. The system may include associate modules each having one or more lockers and a control board in communication with each of the lockers in the module. Each locker may include a locker board having a processor and memory configured to control operation of the locker. Each locker may include a lock and a light. The system may further include one or more control modules, each having the above components and further including a kiosk having one or more input and output devices for entering information to the module for controlling operation of the system. The modular system may be connected to a server and/or an administrator terminal.
Containing device for a treatment machine, in particular a washing and/or sterilization machine, for loose products
Containing device for a treatment machine for loose products, provided internally with a treatment compartment that has at least an open side for loading the loose products to be treated, and for unloading the loose products that have been treated; the containing device comprises at least a first loading door for the loose products to be treated, positioned on a first portion of said open side and associated with at least a respective opening and closing unit, and at least a second unloading door for the loose products that have been treated, positioned on a second portion of said open side and associated with at least a respective opening and closing unit.
Apparatus and method for sterilizing material
A method of sterilizing material includes receiving the material in a sterilizing chamber, vaporizing sterilant supplied to vaporizer from a sterilant source, exposing the material to the vaporized sterilant by conducting a sterilization cycle in the sterilizing chamber, heating ambient filtered air supplied to the vaporizer from an ambient filtered air source, and removing residuals of the vaporized sterilant absorbed or adsorbed by the material during the sterilization cycle by conducting an aeration cycle in the sterilizing chamber. The removing of the residuals includes conducting a plurality of aeration pulses to provide the sterilizing chamber with an aeration atmosphere comprising the heated filtered air to vaporize the absorbed or adsorbed residuals, and conducting a plurality of aeration vacuum pulses to evacuate the aeration atmosphere and vaporized residuals from the sterilizing chamber.
