MEDICAL STERILIZATION AND STORAGE CABINET WITH MULTIDIRECTIONAL ACCESS
Methods, devices and program products are provided for a medical instrumentation storage cabinet. First and second instrumentation retention trays are configured to receive surgical instruments. The housing includes a top plate, a bottom shelf and at least one intermediate shelf there between. The bottom and intermediate shelfs and the first and second instrumentation retention trays include a plurality of holes there through to allow passage of a sterilization medium during a sterilization process. Standoffs are distributed about a perimeter of the housing. The standoffs separate the intermediate shelf from the top plate and bottom shelf to define first and second tray storage areas there between. The first and second tray storage areas have a shape and dimension to receive the first and second instrumentation retention trays. The standoffs are spaced apart from one another to define tray passages there between. The tray passages re sized and located to allow both of the first and second instrumentation retention trays to be inserted into the housing and opened to an open position relative to the housing in at least three directions.
Modular post and partition assembly for equipment sterilization
The present disclosure provides advantageous post and partition assembly that is configured and adapted to promote modularity and withstand the harsh environment of central sterile processing processes. Modular post assembly may be removed and relocated on tray without additional fasteners or components. Tray and bracket assembly may further provide identification features to correctly associate cataloged reusable medical devices to identified trays.
Prefilled container systems
A syringe assembly may include a plunger having a stopper. A barrel may be configured to receive the plunger at an open first end. A tip cap may be removably attached to the second end and may form a chamber within the barrel between the plunger and tip cap. The chamber may be configured to contain a sterilization sensitive material. The barrel may be formed of a plastic material having a high barrier property configured to create a barrier between the sterilization sensitive material and gases produced for sterilization purposes such that the sterilization sensitive material remains unchanged during a sterilization procedure.
Reusable tortuous path filters for sterilization containers
A sterilization container for sterilizing medical instruments that includes a body defining an interior volume and a lid connected to the body and configured to seal the interior volume between the lid and the body. The lid includes an exterior filter structure including a first plurality of ridges and a first plurality of troughs formed between the first ridges. The container includes a filter assembly connected to the lid and including an interior filter structure including a second plurality of ridges and a second plurality of troughs formed between the second ridges. The first plurality of ridges of the exterior filter structure are interposed between the second plurality of ridges of the interior filter structure. The exterior and interior filter structures are configured to form longitudinal channels positioned between the lid and filter assembly to define a rectangular tortuous filter path that inhibits ingress and egress from the interior volume.
STERILE PACKAGING CONTAINER
The present disclosure in one aspect provides a sterile packaging container comprising a container body with a cross-sectional shape that is constant along the majority of the longitudinal axis, a cover and a closure assembly that inhibits the passage of microbial contaminants. The container is configured such that the interior of the container can be sterilized. The sterile packaging container described herein allows one to manufacture a sterile packaging tube exercising the smallest possible volume.

Applicators for applying an on-skin assembly to skin of a host and methods of their use and/or manufacture are provided. An applicator includes an insertion assembly configured to insert at least a portion of the on-skin assembly into the skin of the host, a housing configured to house the insertion assembly, the housing comprising an aperture through which the on-skin assembly can pass, an actuation member configured to, upon activation, cause the insertion assembly to insert at least the portion of the on-skin assembly into the skin of the host, and a sealing element configured to provide a sterile barrier and a vapor barrier between an internal environment of the housing and an external environment of the housing.
STERILIZATION APPARATUS AND ASSOCIATED CONTAINER
A sterilization system and associated components and methods for sterilizing an article. The sterilization system includes a container for use with a sterilization apparatus for sterilizing the article. The container includes an exterior fluid connector port facing an environment surrounding the container that is fluidly connectable to a first fluid connector of the sterilization apparatus. An interior fluid aperture face is fluidly coupled to the exterior fluid connector port and fluidly connects to the article. A valve is fluidly disposed between the exterior fluid connector port and the interior fluid aperture. The valve is arranged to be engaged by the sterilization apparatus to move a valve member to an open position to permit fluid flow between the first fluid connector and the article when the sterilization container is used with the sterilization apparatus and when the article is fluidly connected to the interior fluid aperture.
Refrigerator appliance and sanitizer assembly
A refrigerator appliance or sanitizer assembly may include a heating plate and a storage container. The heating plate may be mounted on a door of the refrigerator appliance. The storage container may be disposed on the heating plate and extend between a bottom end and a top end. The storage container may define a sanitization chamber above the heating plate and a container opening at the top end to permit access to the sanitization chamber.
Applicators for applying transcutaneous analyte sensors and associated methods of manufacture
Operating room coating applicator and method
A disposable coating applicator container for applying a coating of a therapeutic agent upon an object to be coated. The disposable coating applicator container includes a sealable container, the sealable container having a container bottom, the container bottom having upwardly extending walls, each upwardly extending wall terminating in an upper edge, and a closure for sealing a device compartment formed in part by the upwardly extending walls, the closure adjacent to the upper edges of the upwardly extending walls; and a therapeutic agent positioned in fluid communication with the device compartment, wherein the disposable coating applicator container comprises a flexible material and is in the form of a bag-like structure.
