A volatile substance dispensing device (101) and method of fabrication thereof based on a container (201) sealed by a membrane layer (220) with at least one perimetral channel (103) which prevents lateral diffusion of the volatile substance during storage. The at least one perimetral channel (103) is at least partially filled with blocking means such as glue (303) or a protrusion (302) of a separation layer (230) produced by applying heat welding during fixation to the container (201). The dispensing device (101) further comprises a removable barrier layer (240) on top of the separation layer (230).

An air filtering and treatment apparatus (10), the apparatus (10) including: a housing (12) having an air inlet (14), an air outlet (16), an air passageway (24) between the inlet (14) and outlet (16), and a fan (18) arranged to urge air through the air passageway (24) between the air inlet (14) and the air outlet (16), wherein the housing (12) includes filter (20) arranged to filter air passing through the air passageway (24), and a receptacle (26) located toward the air outlet (16) relative to filter (20). The receptacle (26) is adapted to hold treatment composition (22) such that an evaporable vapour associated with the treatment composition (22) is able to accumulate in a headspace (41) of the receptacle (26), the headspace (41) including at least one aperture (36). The air passageway (24) may be shaped such that air flows substantially perpendicularly past the at least one aperture (36) of the receptacle (26) such that a pre-determined amount of the evaporable vapour is entrained into the filtered air released from the air outlet (16). Described is a scent producing assembly having a self-contained module comprising an absorptive matrix infused with a volatile composition and a housing. The housing may include a receptacle shaped to receive the module, wherein the housing has a stowed position and a deployed position. In the stowed position, the receptacle may be contained within an interior of the housing. In the deployed position, the receptacle may be displaced out of the housing. The receptacle may move along an arcuate path when the receptacle is moved between the stowed and deployed positions.

A device for diffusing volatile substances includes a container containing a liquid with the volatile substances, a base element that closes the container, and a wick that is impregnated with the volatile substances. The base element includes an internal channel in which the liquid containing the volatile substances is deposited. A part of the wick placed in the internal channel is impregnated with the liquid containing the volatile substances located in the internal channel.

An apparatus for disinfecting an air space is presented. The apparatus includes a housing having a front surface, a back surface, a top surface, a bottom surface, a first end, and a second end. A light emitting diode is inside the housing and configured to emit ultraviolet radiation, at least 90% of which has a wavelength less than 280 nm, in a direction away from the housing into surrounding space. Circuits inside the housing control the light emitting diode to emit radiation at different intensity levels including zero. Motion sensors may be coupled to the circuits to turn the light emitting diode on and off and modulate the intensity of radiation that is emitted, thereby avoiding exposing occupants of the space to harmful radiation.

Methods, systems, and devices relating to an electronic scented candle that is convenient to use and enables rapid generation and dissipation of scented materials are described. One electronic candle device includes a shell that has a through hole, a flame element protruding through the through hole, an installation lid including a locking base to allow removable coupling of a fragrance container, a scent chamber including a locking clip, a first channel, a second channel, a third channel, and a fourth channel. The scent chamber is removably coupled to the locking base by the locking clip, and an air pump provided to supply pressurized air.

A treadmill may include two separate left and right belts rotating around two sets of rollers, four legs having an adjustable height via air suspension to customize an inclination of the treadmill, a thermoelectric assembly, a fragrance assembly having a rotating fragrance cartridge to emit various smells toward a user of the treadmill, a display on which exercise programs are played, and an attachment module having a dispensing tray on which treats are dispensed. A handle of the treadmill may have a sensor to sense a height and front-rear position, and a belt divider provided between the left and right belts may have position or proximity sensors to sense a left-right position. An inclination of the treadmill may be automatically adjusted according to positions detected by the sensors, and the fragrance assembly, attachment module, and inclination may be automatically operated in accordance with an exercise program played on the display.
