Purified hydrogen peroxide gas generation methods and devices
The present disclosure provides for and includes improved devices and methods for the production of Purified Hydrogen Peroxide Gas (PHPG) that is substantially non-hydrated and substantially free of ozone.
Integrated fogging system providing atomized solution to an enclosed treatment area and related methods
A system for disinfecting an enclosed area having an access door with an atomized disinfectant fluid may include a fogging device including a housing and an atomizing disinfectant generator carried by the housing including an atomizing nozzle in fluid communication with a disinfectant fluid reservoir, and a compressor coupled to the atomizing nozzle. The fogging device may further include a processor, and the system may further include a controller configured to selectively actuate an electronic door lock actuator to lock and unlock the access door. The processor may be configured to communicate with the controller to initiate an automated disinfection treatment cycle during which the compressor dispenses atomized disinfectant fluid into the enclosed area via the atomizing nozzle while the access door is locked, and to not dispense atomized disinfectant fluid into the enclosed area while the access door is unlocked.
Transportable self-sterilizing clinical environment
System and method to reduce risk of exposure to pathogens using a system comprising transportable clinical chambers, often configured with the exterior dimensions of a shipping container. The transportable chamber can be partially or completely self-contained, and configured for rapid transport and setup. The chamber is typically equipped with suitable automatic airborne sterilizing agent generators, sensors, mechanisms, and automatic air control devices. After suitable safety checks, the system isolates the interior air from external air, and activates an air phase anti-microbial agent generator, filling at least a portion of the chamber with an air-phase anti-pathogen agent. After sterilization, the invention deactivates the generator and then restores the connection to outside sterilized air. In some embodiments, the transportable chamber also comprises an intelligent platform comprising video cameras, and computer vision systems configured to identify humans and medical supplies, read optical tags, and correlate recognized objects with RFID tag data.
Methods and Equipment for Treatment of Odorous Gas Streams from Industrial Plants
The present invention is directed to a gas scrubbing process for removing at least one odorous vaporous compound from a gas stream generated by a rendering process or at least reducing the concentration of that odorous vaporous compound. In one embodiment, a series of two gas/liquid contactors is used, each having a different liquid scrubbing solution, with one scrubbing solution controlled at an alkaline pH and the other scrubbing solution controlled at an acidic pH. In another embodiment, the pH of the respective scrubbing solutions in each of the two gas/liquid contactors is reversed.
Purified hydrogen peroxide gas microbial control methods and devices
The present invention relates to methods and devices for providing microbial control and/or disinfection/remediation of an environment. The methods generally comprise: generating a Purified Hydrogen Peroxide Gas (PHPG) that is substantially free of, e.g., hydration, ozone, plasma species, and/or organic species; and directing the gas comprising primarily PHPG into the environment such that the PHPG acts to provide microbial control and/or disinfection/remediation in the environment, preferably both on surfaces and in the air.
Honing machine with a machine frame and at least two units arranged on both sides of the machine frame
A honing machine features a stand (1) with at least two feet (3), wherein the stand (1) has an area with two substantially parallel surfaces, and wherein at least one honing spindle (11), another machining spindle (11) or another functional unit is arranged on the two substantially parallel surfaces of the stand (1).
A METHOD OF AIR DISINFECTION AND AN AIR DISINFECTION APPARATUS COMPRISING AN UNIPOLAR CORONA DISCHARGE ZONE AND AN ELECTRICAL FIELD
In a method and apparatus (10) for air disinfection a unipolar corona discharge zone (26) is formed between an ionizing portion (15) of a first electrode (14) and a non-ionizing second electrode (18) by applying high DC voltage (22, 22) across the first and second electrodes and water molecules in an air flow (25) conveyed through the corona discharge zone are converted to hydrogen peroxide molecules. An electric field (27, 27, 27) is generated across the air flow close to the corona discharge zone for preventing ions escaping from the corona discharge zone into the atmosphere. This allows a higher corona discharge current to be applied than would be permitted if ions were able to escape into the atmosphere, which results in a higher yield of hydrogen peroxide and increases the efficiency of disinfection. It also helps to prevent dust from settling on the ionizing portion (15).
METHODS AND SYSTEM FOR DISINFECTION
The present disclosure relates to methods and system for disinfecting surfaces within a volumetric space by forming peracids in a reaction layer in situ directly on the surfaces to be disinfected. Particularly, a peroxide compound and an organic acid are sequentially dispersed into the volumetric space, preventing peracids from being formed until the two reactants contact each other on the surface to be disinfected. In some embodiments, any of the dispersed aqueous compositions can optionally be electrostatically charged. Additionally, a system for sequentially dispersing the peracid reactant compounds by electrostatic spraying is provided.

Apparatus and method for generating activated sterilization solution
An apparatus for generating an activated sterilization solution is disclosed. The apparatus may include a plasma treatment unit for performing plasma discharge treatment on a gas, and a sterilization solution treatment unit for changing a sterilization solution into a droplet or mist state. The gas treated by the plasma discharge treatment may be mixed with the sterilization solution in the droplet or mist state.
