Embodiments of particle protection headwear apparatuses and use thereof are detailed herein. In general, embodiments of the present invention include a shield and a shroud which couple to, or are partially or wholly integral with, a hat. The shield extends downwardly from the hat and is typically embodied as part of the hat. Further, the shield is designed for a user to be able to look through it. The shroud is coupled to and extends downwardly from the shield and the hat. The shroud extends entirely around a perimeter of the hat to form a breathable barrier between particles and the user's head. The shroud may be removeable from the shield and washable.

Provided is a headgear including first and second holding parts that respectively hold first and second cooling members. In a worn state, the first and second holding parts are respectively positioned laterally to left and right carotid arteries. The headgear includes a headgear main body to be worn on a head and a neck cover that covers a neck, the first and second holding parts are provided in the neck cover, the first holding part is a first pocket that stores the first cooling member, the second holding part is a second pocket that stores the second cooling member, and the headgear includes a coupling part that detachably couples a left end part and a right end part of the neck cover.

A neck shade accessory for baseball caps has a support band, at least one attachment clip, and a sunshade. The support band is adjustable in length and curved to conform to the rear and sides of a baseball cap. Each attachment clip is secured to the support band and clips onto the brim of the baseball cap. The sunshade is terminally attached along the support band and hangs from the rear of the baseball cap to protect a wearer's neck and shoulders from exposure to the sun. A shade attachment of the sunshade may further be incorporated to secure the sunshade to an adjustment band positioned at the rear of the baseball cap.

A neck shade accessory for baseball caps has a support band, at least one attachment clip, and a sunshade. The support band is adjustable in length and curved to conform to the rear and sides of a baseball cap. Each attachment clip is secured to the support band and clips onto the brim of the baseball cap. The sunshade is terminally attached along the support band and hangs from the rear of the baseball cap to protect a wearer's neck and shoulders from exposure to the sun. A shade attachment of the sunshade may further be incorporated to secure the sunshade to an adjustment band positioned at the rear of the baseball cap.

A brim shade has a shade element, a clip, and a hinge that joins the shade element and the clip to make the brim shade. The shade element and the hinge combine to create a shade that does not allow the light to get past the brim shade. The brim shade can be adjusted through 360 degree rotation and along the side of a hat to provide protection to the wearer.

The presented invention is a light weight protective bump cap hat. The bump cap hat has an insert comprised of flexible joints and wings that allow for adjustable horizontal and vertical dimensions of the insert to more readily accommodate various head shapes and sizes. The bump cap insert also has venting channels to allow better venting around the comfort pad and out the crown of the bump cap while being worn by a user.

The presented invention is a light weight protective bump cap hat. A hair wrap envelopes the hair. The hair wrap comprises a cap portion, a pouch, and side walls. The cap portion has at least one attachment means. At least two elongated ties located on opposite sides of the side walls are adapted to be twisted for securing the wrap on the user's head. A material loop is located on a back base of the pouch to hold the ties in place. An attachment means located on a bottom edge of the pouch mates with the attachment means of the cap portion. A crown material loop located on the top section is adapted to hold the pouch after the pouch is twisted and lifted toward the top section. The pouch is adapted to be worn in a variety of styles, including to lay untwisted when the wrap is in an extended position, and twisted and lifted upward when the wrap is in a wrapped position.
