The breast shield according to the invention can be produced in a simple and cost-efficient manner and nevertheless is very comfortable to wear and can be placed in position on the breast in a sealing manner.

Self returning contamination barrier

A barrier of a vacuum pump prevents contamination from entering a vacuum pump air line. The barrier separates parts of the pump and is moveable between an initial state and a distended state. The barrier is assembled within the pump with a pre-load. When the vacuum source is applied to the barrier, the barrier achieves a distended state and when the vacuum source is released, the barrier incrementally self returns to an initial state. The geometry and material construction of the barrier, along with the pre-load, assists in returning the barrier on its own to the initial state from the distended state.

The present disclosure provides a milk bowl for a breast pump and the breast pump, aiming to solve the problems that components of a breast pump in the prior art are relatively scattered and the breast pump occupies a relatively large space. The milk bowl includes a bowl body, a milk storage cavity and a tee joint are disposed in the bowl body, a milk outlet is provided at a front end of the milk storage cavity, and the tee joint is located in the milk storage cavity; three ports of the tee joint are a milk pumping port, a milk flowing port and a negative pressure port respectively, the negative pressure port of the tee joint and the bowl body are integrated, and the negative pressure port of the tee joint is in communication with the outside. The breast pump includes the above milk bowl for a breast pump and a main unit; the main unit includes a shell; the main unit is disposed in a space formed by a rear side of a semicircular mounting plate and an upper side of an upper panel of the bowl body, and the shell of the main unit and the bowl body together form a hemispherical surface. The tee joint and the bowl body are integrated, thus saving space, reducing a volume, achieving a high degree of integration, and implementing a simple, efficient and low-cost solution for a concealed breast pump.

An apparatus includes a telescopic plunger extending between a proximal end and a distal end. The telescopic plunger includes a plurality of telescoping segments. The plurality of telescoping segments are secured together in an end-to-end configuration and expandable between a collapsed position and an expanded position. The apparatus further includes a collection container secured to the distal end of the telescopic plunger. The collection container defines a barrel having at least one inner wall. The collection container is configured to hold a liquid containing fat molecules therein. As such, a distal-most telescoping segment of the plurality of telescoping segments of the telescopic plunger is configured to sweep the inner wall(s) of the collection container to remove the fat molecules from the inner wall(s) of the collection container.
