A dialysis system includes a fluid line fluidly communicating with a fluid source, a peritoneal dialysis configured to be placed in fluid communication with the fluid line, the peritoneal dialysis including a first user interface and a first control unit, the first user interface configured to receive first user inputs related to a peritoneal dialysis treatment, the first control configured to operate the peritoneal dialysis in accordance with the first user inputs to perform the peritoneal dialysis treatment, and a blood treatment configured to be placed in fluid communication with the fluid line, the blood treatment including a second user interface and a second control unit, the second user interface configured to receive second user inputs related to a blood treatment, the second control configured to operate the blood treatment in accordance with the second user inputs to perform the blood treatment.
Blood purification apparatus
A blood purification apparatus that is capable of performing a liquid spill prevention operation and uniformizing the amount of air introduced through an opened portion. The blood purification apparatus includes a dialysate introduction line that allows dialysate to be introduced into a dialyzer; a dialysate discharge line that allows the dialysate to be discharged from the dialyzer; coupling tools that allow free switching between a connected state which causes a closed circuit, and an opened state which causes the closed circuit to be opened to form an opened portion; and a control means that performs a liquid spill prevention operation in which external air is introduced through the opened portion. An air detection means, by which air introduced through the opened portion is detectable, is provided in the vicinity of the coupling tools, and the control means stops the liquid spill prevention operation when air is detected by the air detection means.

A smart light engine box generates the therapeutic EMR, controls treatments, and monitors the health of the system. A fiber optic disposable makes at-home use of the EMR delivery system possible. Specific embodiments of the EMR delivery system for use with peritoneal dialysis catheters, dialysis accesses, and hemodialysis accesses are also disclosed.
Hemodialysis system including a disposable set and a dialysis instrument
A hemodialysis system is disclosed. The hemodialysis system includes a dialyzer, a saline container including saline, and a disposable set comprising a blood pumping tube fluidly connected to a first end of the dialyzer, an arterial line fluidly connected to a first end of the blood pumping tube, a venous line fluidly connected to a second end of the dialyzer, a saline line fluidly connected to the blood pumping tube and the saline container, and a dialyzer line fluidly connected to a second end of the blood pumping tube and a second end of the dialyzer. The hemodialysis system also includes a dialysis instrument comprising an arterial line clamp, a venous line clamp, and a saline valve. The saline rinses blood out of the arterial line when the venous line clamp is closed, the arterial line clamp is opened, and the saline value is opened.
BLOOD PURIFICATION DEVICE AND COUPLER
A blood purification device includes: a control device that controls supply of a dialysis solution to a blood purifier; a dialysis solution supply tube in which a dialysis solution flows from the control device toward the blood purifier; a dialysis solution discharge tube in which the dialysis solution flows from the blood purifier toward the control device; a supply side coupler that connects between the dialysis solution supply tube and a dialysis solution inflow pipe of the blood purifier; and a discharge side coupler that connects between the dialysis solution discharge tube and a dialysis solution outflow pipe of the blood purifier. At least one of the supply side coupler and the discharge side coupler includes a light source unit configured to irradiate the interior of the coupler with ultraviolet light.
