Audio apparatus
An audio apparatus includes a network interface, a receiver, at least one storage, and at least one processor. The processor is configured to determine that the audio apparatus is in a state capable of communicating with the other audio apparatus via the network interface. The processor is also configured to receive audio data via the receiver transmitted from an external apparatus different from the other audio apparatus. The processor is also configured to output a sound based on the received audio data. The processor is also configured to transmit the sound emission control information stored in the at least one storage to the other audio apparatus. The sound emission control information includes one or more of a sound volume, and a frequency band.
Method and system for headset with automatic source detection and volume control
An audio headset receives one or more audio signals carrying one or more audio channels and processes the audio channels to generate stereo signals for output to a left and a right speaker of the audio headset. The processing determines a number of the audio channels carried in the received audio signal(s), adjusts level(s) of the audio channels based on the determined number of audio channels and/or adjusts gain and/or phase of the audio channels to control a perceived location of a listener wearing the headset relative to a source of sounds carried in the stereo signals.
Mobile system with wireless earbud
The disclosure herein provides a mobile system including a mobile base station and a wireless earbud. The base station comprising a connection hole, a user input button, at least one processor, at least one memory, and circuitry. The wireless earbud is configured for plugging into the connection hole of the base station to form an integrated body with the base station. The system establishes a wireless Bluetooth pairing between a smartphone and the wireless earbud using two-way wireless communication to produce Bluetooth communication between the smartphone and the wireless earbud.
Playback device mode based on device base
Example techniques relate to changing a playback device mode based on a device base. In an example implementation, a first playback device operates in a first mode where it is connected to a first network and plays back audio content while in the first mode. The playback device detects connection of the first playback device to a device base and while the first playback device is on the device base, detects connection to a second network. The first playback device switches from operating in the first mode to operating in a second mode. The first playback device forms a stereo pair configuration with a second playback device over the second network in the second mode. While in the second mode, the first playback device plays back a first channel of audio content in synchrony with the second playback device playing back a second channel of the audio content.
Personal Device Docking Station For Video Calls
A personal device docking station can include a base, a neck with a stationary and non-stationary portion and a rest pad that can hold a personal device such as a smartphone or tablet. When a personal device is docked in the docking station, bidirectional audio feed is established between the personal device and the docking station. A user can receive audio feed from the docking station's speakers and transmit audio feed via a plurality of microphones. The rest pad of the docking station can have a window or cutout that aligns with the camera of the docked personal device. The non-stationary portion of the neck can include multiple motorized rotation heads that allow for horizontal and vertical rotation of the rest pad and docked device.
ELECTRONIC FURNITURE SYSTEMS WITH INTEGRATED INDUCTION CHARGER
A furniture system includes a base and transverse member, with an induction charger provided in the transverse member and/or base, hidden from view and feel. The induction charger can be at least partially secured to either the base frame or the transverse member frame. The induction charger provides induction charging to a device positioned adjacent to a charging surface of the base or transverse member. The charging surface is positioned adjacent to the induction charger. Additionally, the induction charger is positioned between a first and second cushioning material. The first cushioning material is adjacent to (e.g., proximal to or on) the charging surface. The first and second cushioning materials have respective depths.
Wearable electronic device
Hands-free electronic devices and electronic functions that can be worn on the surface of the body in a biologically fit manner are described. The embodiments provide a convergence between electronic products, and biological, anatomical, and biomechanical aspects of the human body while providing hands-free and interchangeable wearable electronic apparatuses that can interact with human senses and physiology of a human body in a practical manner.
Dock of mobile communication device and operation method therefor
A dock and an operation method therefor are provided. The dock is suitable for propping up a mobile communication device. The dock includes an audio-receiving circuit, a rotating module, a communication circuit, and a controller circuit. The controller circuit is coupled to the audio-receiving circuit, the rotating module, and the communication circuit. The controller circuit transmits at least one of a plurality of audio signals generated by the audio-receiving circuit to the mobile communication device through the communication circuit, and determines an audio direction of an audio source according to the plurality of audio signals. The controller circuit controls the rotating module to rotate according to the audio direction, so as to bring the mobile communication device face toward the audio source.
DISPLAY APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a power supply; a connection interface; and a processor configured to: identify whether a device connected to the connection interface comprises a speaker or a wireless power transmitter, based on the device being identified as comprising the speaker, provide power supplied from the power supply and a sound signal to the speaker, and based on the device being identified as comprising the wireless power transmitter, provide power supplied from the power supply to the wireless power transmitter.
DISPLAY APPARATUS, AUDIO APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THEREOF
A method for controlling a display apparatus includes: based on a communication connection with an audio device being established through a first interface, transmitting, to the audio device, audio setup information of the display apparatus; based on receiving a first audio signal comprising a plurality of channels from an external server, transmitting a second audio signal comprising the plurality of channels to the audio device; receiving, from the audio device, a third audio signal comprising a height channel obtained from the second audio signal based on the audio setup information of the display apparatus; and outputting the received third audio signal.
