SYSTEMS AND METHODS USING PREDICTIVE ANALYSIS OF AUDIO SIGNAL TO GENERATE HAPTIC DATA FOR ENHANCED USER EXPERIENCE

Systems and methods for generating a haptic output from an audio signal having a continuous stream of sampled digital audio data are provided. A haptic processing system receives the digital audio data, analyses the digital audio data for processing and extracts haptic signals for generating a haptic effect through an actuator. The method includes passing the digital audio signal on through dynamic processor(s), adjusting the dynamic range of the digital audio signal, extracting the signal envelope of the audio data, synthesising low-frequency signals from the extracted signal envelope, and enhancing the low-frequency content using a resonator. The haptic output is generated by mixing the digital audio signal with outputs from the different modules of the haptic processing system. An analytics module monitors, controls and adjusts the processing of the digital audio signal at the noise gate module, the compressor module and the envelope module to enhance the haptic output.

20190373358 · 2019-12-05 · ·

The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and devices for headphone speakers. In one embodiment, headphone speaker system is provided including a headset unit and an earphone pair. The headset unit and earphone pair are reconfigurable and module sound emitting units that allow for multiple arrangements, including output of audio signals to both the head set unit and the earphone pair, or selective output of audio to one of the head set unit and earphone pair. The headset unit is configured to include ear cups that allow for mounting the earphone pair in one or more positions. The headset unit can charge the earphone pair. In some embodiments, a headphone system is provided including earphone speakers that may be inserted within ear cups and that operate either independently or combined with headset speakers. Processes and device configurations are provided for selective output of audio to speaker systems and headset unit.

Interactive sound reproducing

An audio system attachable to a computer includes a sound reproduction device for producing audible sound from audio signals. The sound reproduction device includes a radio tuner and a powered speaker. The audio system further includes a connector for connecting the sound reproduction device with a computer. The computer provides audio signals from a plurality of sources, the sources including a computer CD player, digitally encoded computer files stored on the computer, and a computer network connected to the computer. The sound reproduction device further includes control buttons for controlling at least one of the computer CD player, the digitally encoded computer files and the computer network.

SYSTEM FOR RENDERING AND PLAYBACK OF OBJECT BASED AUDIO IN VARIOUS LISTENING ENVIRONMENTS

Embodiments are described for a system of rendering object-based audio content through a system that includes individually addressable drivers, including at least one driver that is configured to project sound waves toward one or more surfaces within a listening environment for reflection to a listening area within the listening environment; a renderer configured to receive and process audio streams and one or more metadata sets associated with each of the audio streams and specifying a playback location of a respective audio stream; and a playback system coupled to the renderer and configured to render the audio streams to a plurality of audio feeds corresponding to the array of audio drivers in accordance with the one or more metadata sets.

Earphone

The present invention relates to a canal type earphone configured such that an outlet for a sound wave to be reproduced is inserted into an inlet of a user's ear canal. The earphone includes an electrodynamic speaker unit configured to electroacoustically convert an audio signal into a high-frequency sound wave containing a band component having a higher frequency than that of an audible band of a human being, thereby emitting the high-frequency sound wave; an electromagnetic speaker unit configured to electroacoustically convert the audio signal into a low-frequency sound wave containing more band components having a lower frequency than that of the high-frequency sound wave, thereby emitting the low-frequency sound wave; and a housing to the inside of which the electrodynamic speaker unit and the electromagnetic speaker unit are attached.

Display device including sound generator and vibration damping member

A display device includes: a display panel; a first sound generator disposed on one surface of the display panel, where the first sound generator vibrates the display panel to output a first sound; and a first vibration damping member disposed between the display panel and the first sound generator, where the first vibration damping member reduces a vibration displacement of the display panel.

EXPANDABLE ENCLOSURE FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE RESONANCE BOX

An electronic device, comprises a display and an expandable enclosure positioned opposite the display. The expandable enclosure is operable between at least a closed configuration and an open configuration, such that in the open configuration, the expandable enclosure defines faces of a resonance box. One or more speakers include a speaker cone and a drive magnet assembly. Each of the one or more speakers is positioned on an outer surface of the expandable enclosure and oriented so that the drive magnet assembly faces an interior of the resonance box, and so that the speaker cone faces an exterior of the resonance box. In this way, the electronic device gains the benefit of amplifying audio via the resonance box without adding significantly to the device volume or requiring an auxiliary speaker system.

Display apparatus

Disclosed is a display apparatus capable of improving a sound quality through an accurate sound transmission, wherein the display apparatus may include a backlight module connected with a rear surface of a display panel, a rear structure for surrounding the backlight module, and a vibration generating device for vibrating the display panel through the backlight module, wherein the vibration generating device is fixed to the rear structure.
