USER INTERFACE FOR AUDIO MESSAGE
The present disclosure generally relates to receiving voice input via the one or more microphones; and displaying a visual indication of the voice input, where in accordance with a determination that a portion of the voice input corresponds to voice input that is to be transmitted to one or more devices displaying, via the one or more display devices, the visual indication includes displaying the visual indication with a first set of one or more colors; and in accordance with a determination that the voice input does not include an instruction to transmit any portion of the voice input to the one or more devices, displaying, via the one or more display devices, the visual indication includes displaying the visual indication with a second set of one or more colors that is different from the first set of one or more colors.
NETWORKED GAMING HEADSET
Methods and systems are provided for using networked gaming headsets. In an audio setup that includes a headset configurable to process audio for a first player participating in an online multiplayer game, a headset preset may be requested from a central headset preset depository, where the headset preset includes values for one or more configurable parameter settings relating to operation or functions of the headset, where the headset preset is uploaded into the central headset preset depository by someone other than the first user, where the headset preset is associated with an identification information for uniquely identifying the headset preset, and where requesting the head present includes providing the identification information to the central headset preset depository. In response to acceptance of the request, the headset preset may be downloaded from the central headset preset depository into the headset, and the headset may be configured based on the headset preset.
Monaural hearing device with parts that are interconnected utilizing near-field wireless communication
A monaural hearing device includes: a first housing accommodating a first near-field magnetic induction communication unit and a first magnetic field antenna connected to the first near-field magnetic induction communication unit, wherein the first housing is configured for placement behind an ear of a user of the monaural hearing device; and a second housing accommodating a second near-field magnetic induction communication unit and a second magnetic field antenna connected to the second near-field magnetic induction communication unit; wherein the first and second near-field magnetic induction communication units connected to the first and second magnetic field antennas, respectively, are configured to perform near-field wireless data communication with each other.
Enabling and Disabling Microphones and Voice Assistants
An example playback device may include at least one microphone and a capacitive control disposed on a housing of the playback device. The playback device may be configured to receive information that causes the playback device to operate in a first state where the playback device is configured to (i) capture audio data via the at least one microphone and (ii) perform voice assistant wake word detection on audio data captured by the at least one microphone. While the playback device is operating in the first state, it may detect a selection of the capacitive control and based on the selection, transition to operate in a second state where the playback device is (i) configured to capture audio data via the at least one microphone and (ii) not configured to perform voice assistant wake word detection on audio data captured by the at least one microphone.
ROUTINES FOR PLAYBACK DEVICES
A control device receives one or more first user inputs associating a particular playback mode with one or more playback devices and one or more user-defined acoustic parameters for particular media content that is associated with the particular playback mode. The control device associates a particular trigger condition with the particular playback mode. The particular trigger condition comprises a condition that causes the particular playback mode to be executed. The control device receives one or more second user inputs to activate a particular routine that is associated with the particular playback mode. After receiving the one or more second user inputs, the control device transmits a message that causes the one or more playback devices to play back the particular media content according to the one or more user-defined acoustic parameters.
Providing a Multi-Channel and a Multi-Zone Audio Environment
A multi-channel and multi-zone audio environment is provided. Various inventions are disclosed that allow playback devices on one or more networks to provide an effective multi-channel and a multi-zone audio environment using timing information. According to one example, timing information is used to coordinate playback devices connected over a low-latency network to provide audio along with a video display. In another example, timing information is used to coordinate playback devices connected over a mesh network to provide audio in one or more zones or zone groups.
AI-BASED DJ SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DECOMPOSING, MISING AND PLAYING OF AUDIO DATA
The present invention relates to a method for processing and playing audio data comprising the steps of receiving mixed input data and playing recombined output data. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device 10 for processing and playing audio data, preferably DJ equipment, comprising an audio input unit for receiving a mixed input signal, a recombination unit 32 and a playing unit 34 for playing recombined output data. In addition, the present invention relates to a method and a device for representing audio data, i.e. on a display.
DUAL-RADIO GAMING HEADSET
A gaming machine having an audio channel outputting game sound and an audio channel intaking microphone sound and outputing chat sound is coupled with a headset having earpieces and a microphone and a Bluetooth transceiver in the headset for sending and receiving the microphone and chat sounds. A radio receiver or wired connection in the headset receives the game sounds. Circuitry in the headset is connected between the transceiver and receiver for mixing the microphone, chat, and game sounds and feeding them all to the earpieces.
ROOM SOUNDS MODES
Example techniques described herein involve a media playback system of one or more playback devices that are operable in a plurality of modes. Operating in a given mode may enhance a use case corresponding to the mode. For instance, the plurality of modes may include a foreground mode, which may enhance active listening to the playback device. The plurality of modes may also include a background mode, which may enhance passive listening to the playback device by facilitating other activities during passive listening. In some example implementations, the plurality of modes are non-contemporary; when operating in one mode, the playback device will not be operating in the other modes, and vice versa.
Speaker assembly in a display assistant device
In a display assistant device, a speaker is mounted in a waveguide structure which is at least partially disposed beneath a display screen. The waveguide structure is mounted in an exterior housing which includes speaker grills distributed on a plurality of surfaces of the exterior housing, permitting sound waves from the speaker to be projected outside the exterior housing. A cover structure is disposed on top of the waveguide structure to conceal the waveguide structure and speaker within the exterior housing. The cover structure has a tilted bottom surface configured to be suspended above the waveguide structure and to be separated by a first space. Sound waves projected from an upper portion of the speaker are reflected by the tilted bottom surface and are guided through the first space to exit the device from a speaker grill portion located on a rear side of the exterior housing.
