ACOUSTIC OUTPUT APPARATUSES AND ASSEMBLIES THEREOF
The embodiments of the present disclosure disclose an acoustic apparatus. The acoustic apparatus may include a support assembly. The support assembly may include a first portion and a second portion. When a user is wearing the acoustic apparatus, the first portion may be hung between a first side of an ear and a head of the user, the second portion may contact a second side of the ear. The first portion may cause the second portion to provide a compressive force on the second side of the ear.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OBTAINING VIBRATION TRANSFER FUNCTIONS
The present disclosure provides a method for obtaining a vibration transfer function from a sound generation unit to other positions. The method comprises: generating a first sound and a second sound based on a first test audio signal and a second test audio signal; outputting a first feedback signal after receiving the first sound, the first feedback signal including a signal transmitted from a sound generation unit to a first position through vibration transmission path and air conduction transmission path; outputting a second feedback signal after receiving the second sound, the second feedback signal including a signal transmitted from the sound generation unit to a second position through air conduction transmission path; determining the vibration transfer function from the sound generation unit to the first position based on the first test audio signal, the second test audio signal, the first feedback signal, and the second feedback signal.
Bone conduction audio apparatus
A bone conduction audio apparatus includes at least one ear hook assembly. A main circuit board is provided in the ear hook assembly. Each ear hook assembly includes an operating unit, a line concentrator and a bone conduction transducer. Each operating unit is electrically connected with corresponding line concentrator by contact springs or connecting wires, and connected with the main circuit board via the line concentrator. Each bone conduction transducer is electrically connected with the main circuit board via corresponding line concentrator. A controller of the main circuit board receives touch signals from all operating units to determine and initiate relating earphone operating. The bone conduction audio apparatus adopts bilateral triggering interaction mechanism. The line concentrator is combined with the suspended bone conduction transducer.
SOUND SYSTEM
A bone conduction speaker is built into a seat of a vehicle and faces the skull of an occupant seated in the seat. An acoustic control ECU individually selects sound to be output from the bone conduction speaker for each of the occupants in the vehicle, according to attribute information of the occupant recorded in a portable terminal device carried by the occupant, and causes the selected sound to be individually output from the bone conduction speaker to each of the occupants.
MODIFYING AUDIO DATA TRANSMITTED TO A RECEIVING DEVICE TO ACCOUNT FOR ACOUSTIC PARAMETERS OF A USER OF THE RECEIVING DEVICE
A communication system provides audio content to one or more client devices capable of playing spatialized audio content. For example, the communication system receives audio content from a client device and transmits the audio content to other client devices to be played for users. The communication system dynamically modifies audio content transmitted to different client devices based on a payload including audio parameters (e.g., local area acoustic properties, an audiogram for a user, a head related transfer function for a user, etc.) received from a client device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUPPRESSING SOUND LEAKAGE
A bone conduction speaker includes a housing, a vibration board and a transducer. The transducer is located in the housing, and the vibration board is configured to contact with skin and pass vibration. At least one sound guiding hole is set on at least one portion of the housing to guide sound wave inside the housing to the outside of the housing. The guided sound wave interfaces with the leaked sound wave, and the interfacing reduces a sound pressure level of at least a portion of the leaked sound wave. A frequency of the at least a portion of the leaked sound wave is lower than 4000 Hz.
Input and Edit Functions Utilizing Accelerometer Based Earpiece Movement System and Method
A method for performing voice dictation with an earpiece worn by a user includes receiving as input to the earpiece voice sound information from the user at one or more microphones of the earpiece, receiving as input to the earpiece user control information from one or more sensors within the earpiece independent from the one or more microphones of the earpiece, inserting a machine-generated transcription of the voice sound information from the user into a user input area associated with an application executing on a computing device and manipulating the application executing on the computing device based on the user control information.
Methods and system for adjusting level of tactile content when presenting audio content
An audio system presented herein includes a transducer array, a sensor array, and a controller. The transducer array presents audio content to a user. The controller controls the transducer array to adjust a level of tactile content imparted to the user via actuation of at least one transducer in the transducer array while presenting the audio content to the user. The audio system can be part of a headset.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUPPRESSING SOUND LEAKAGE
A speaker comprises a housing, a transducer residing inside the housing, and at least one sound guiding hole located on the housing. The transducer generates vibrations. The vibrations produce a sound wave inside the housing and cause a leaked sound wave spreading outside the housing from a portion of the housing. The at least one sound guiding hole guides the sound wave inside the housing through the at least one sound guiding hole to an outside of the housing. The guided sound wave interferes with the leaked sound wave in a target region. The interference at a specific frequency relates to a distance between the at least one sound guiding hole and the portion of the housing.
