Wireless earpieces for hub communications
A method of utilizing wireless earpieces for hub communications in embodiments of the present invention may have one or more of the following steps: (a) activating the wireless earpieces, (b) connecting one or more devices to the wireless earpieces, (c) performing first biometric measurements of the user utilizing the wireless earpieces, (d) receiving second biometric measurements from the one or more devices, (e) determining if the one or more devices is located on the same user as the wireless earpieces by comparing the second biometric measurements to the first biometric measurements, (f) receiving a communication to be sent through the wireless earpieces from the one or more devices, and (g) sending the communication to reach a receiving party in response to the determination the second biometric measurements are similar to the first biometric measurements.
Non-3GPP device access to core network
A non-SI device (120) is arranged for wireless communication (130) and cooperates with an SI device (110) having access to a subscriber identity. The non-SI device has a transceiver (121) to communicate in a local network and a processor (122) to establish an association with the SI. A non-SI public key is provided to the SI device via a first communication channel. A verification code is shared with the SI device via a second communication channel. The channels are different and include an out-of-band channel (140). Proof of possession of a non-SI private key is provided to the SI device via the first or the second communication channel. From the SI device, security data is received that is related to the SI and is computed using the non-SI public key. The security data reliably enables the non-SI device to access the core network via the local network and a gateway between the local network and the core network.
AUTOMATIC MULTIMEDIA UPLOAD FOR PUBLISHING DATA AND MULTIMEDIA CONTENT
Disclosed herein is a method and system for utilizing a digital data capture device in conjunction with a Bluetooth (BT) enabled mobile device for publishing data and multimedia content on one or more websites automatically or with minimal user intervention. A client application is provided on the BT enabled mobile device. In the absence of inbuilt BT capability, a BT communication device is provided on the digital data capture device. The BT communication device is paired with the BT enabled mobile device to establish a connection. The client application detects capture of data and multimedia content on the digital data capture device and initiates transfer of the captured data, multimedia content, and associated files. The digital data capture device transfers the captured data, multimedia content, and the associated files to the client application. The client application automatically publishes the transferred data and multimedia content on one or more websites.

SECURE COMMUNICATION OF USER DEVICE DATA
A method for facilitating secure communication between a user device and a network device. Encrypted data from a user device is received at the network device. The encrypted data is encrypted based on first physiological data captured by a first sensor of the user device. The first physiological data is representative of a physiological characteristic of a user of the user device. A second sensor of the network device captures second physiological data representative of the physiological characteristic of the user. A common key for encrypting further data transferred between the user device and the network device is determined, based on the encrypted data and the second physiological data. Further aspects relate to other methods for facilitating secure communication between a user and network device, a network, and a method of operating a network.
CONFIGURING A REMOTE ELECTRONIC DEVICE BY A PEER ELECTRONIC DEVICE IN A NETWORKED ENVIRONMENT
A method for configuring multiple electronic devices in a batch, is described. The method can include initializing, by a first computing device a communication network based on a pre-defined configuration parameter. The pre-defined configuration parameter is associated with a first instance of an application on the first computing device. Further, the method includes identifying, by the first computing device, an initialization of a second instance of an application at a second computing device. In response to identifying the initialization of the second instance of the application at the second computing device, the method includes, sending, by the first computing device configuration settings for the second computing device over a secured communication network. In this regard, the configuration settings can comprise at least the pre-defined configuration parameter for configuring the second computing device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONNECTING PRIVATE DEVICES TO PUBLIC DEVICES ACCORDING TO CONNECTION PARAMETERS
Systems and methods for connecting a private device to a public device based on various connection parameters. For example, a media guidance application may receive a communication requesting to use the public device from a private device that is implementing a private interface application (e.g., Netflix™ a streaming media application). In response, the media guidance application may generate an authorization key that is unique to the private device and comprises connection parameters. The media guidance application may transmit the authorization key to the private interface application to initiate a session between the public device and the private device. Whenever a command is received from the private device, the media guidance application may verify the authorization key and determine whether the connection parameters are satisfied. In response to verifying the authorization key and the connection parameters, the public device may execute the received command.
METHOD FOR SECURE PAIRING BETWEEN AN ON-BOARD AND REMOTE SENSOR AND CONCENTRATOR
A method for secure pairing between a sensor and a concentrator using a mobile terminal includes generating and emitting a confirmation code by the concentrator; converting by the sensor of the confirmation code into a sequence of light signals executed by at least one light-emitting diode; converting by the mobile terminal of the sequence of light signals into a sequence code; sending the sequence code to the concentrator; comparing, by the concentrator, the sequence code and the generated confirmation code: if the sequence code does not match the generated confirmation code, generating a warning; if the sequence code matches the generated confirmation code, pairing and exchanging information between the sensor and the concentrator.
