ADAPTIVE CELL-SHAPING IN A CELLULAR NETWORK
There is provided mechanisms for adaptive cell-shaping in a cellular network in which a group of radio access network nodes provide network access. A method is performed by a network node. The method comprises obtaining an indication of combined network performance degradation in a region in which a first radio access network node in the group of radio access network nodes provides network access and increased need for network access for prioritized service and/or prioritized subscribers in this region. The method comprises initiating adjustment of cell-degradation shaping parameters of at least one radio access network node in the group of radio access network nodes. Network access for the prioritized service and/or prioritized subscribers in the region is maintained by this at least one radio access network node in the group of radio access network nodes.
METHODS PROVIDING INFORMATION MESSAGES INCLUDING RACH REPORTS AND RELATED WIRELESS DEVICES
A wireless device registers with a first PLMN having a first PLMN identity. A first plurality of RA procedures is performed while registered with the first PLMN. First information related to the first plurality of RA procedures is stored. The wireless device registers with a second PLMN having a second PLMN identity different than the first PLMN identity after registering with the first PLMN and after performing the first plurality of RA procedures. The first information is discarded responsive to registering with the second PLMN. A second plurality of RA procedures is performed while registered with the second PLMN. Second information related to the second plurality of RA procedures is stored. An information message is transmitted to the second PLMN. The information message includes a plurality of RACH reports corresponding to the second plurality of RA procedures based on the second information.
CELL OVERLAP ANALYSIS
A computer implemented method of cell overlap analysis of a communication network. The method includes determining coverage area of a first and a second cell of the communication network, wherein determination of the coverage area of a cell is based on user distribution in the respective cell; determining intersecting area as an area where the determined coverage area of the first cell and the determined coverage area of the second cell overlap; and determining a first impact value reflecting impact of the overlap on the first cell as a ratio of the determined intersecting area and the determined coverage area of the first cell.

Data Processing Apparatus and Method, Base Station, and Storage Medium
A data processing apparatus and method, a base station, and a storage medium are provided. The apparatus includes: a processor, configured to determine a computation parallelism degree according to the number of antennas and pilot frequency information, acquire antenna data and channel estimation matrices of respective users, and store the antenna data and the channel estimation matrices in groups in a memory, and determine, according to the computation parallelism degree, target antenna data processed in parallel by an arithmetic unit in a single computation, wherein the target antenna data is part of the antenna data of the respective users; the memory, configured to store the antenna data and the channel estimation matrices in groups, and output the target antenna data and the channel estimation matrices to the arithmetic unit; and the arithmetic unit, configured to compute user data based on the target antenna data and the channel estimation matrices.
METHODS, SYSTEMS AND BASEBAND UNITS FOR IMPROVED USAGE OF SHARED FRONTHAUL CONNECTIONS
A method performed by a system having a plurality of base station systems, each base station system comprising a baseband unit, BBU and a radio unit, RU interconnected via a fronthaul connection that is shared between the base station systems. Fronthaul capacity information on transmission capacity of the shared fronthaul connection and information on required capacity for transmission and/or reception of wireless signals by the RU of the respective base station system are obtained. Time unit transmission restrictions for the respective base station system is determined based on the fronthaul capacity information and on the information on required capacity, which time unit transmission restrictions results in fronthaul usage below the transmission capacity of the part of the fronthaul connection. Information on the determined time unit transmission restrictions is sent to the BBU of the respective base station system.
