COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND METHOD
Disclosed is a communication device capable of communicating with a terminal that performs wireless communication. The communication device includes a receiver configured to receive a request for network quality requirements from the terminal; a calculator configured to calculate network quality requirements available to the terminal; a determination unit configured to compare the request with the available network quality requirements to determine whether the request is acceptable; and a transmitter configured to transmit the result of the determination to the terminal.
STATION PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE METHOD, STATION PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE APPARATUS AND STATION PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The present invention performs: generating base station positional relationship specification data indicating a positional relationship between travel trajectory and a base station candidate position, and terminal station positional relationship specification data indicating a positional relationship between the travel trajectory and a terminal station candidate position, based on travel trajectory data indicating the travel trajectory of a moving body for measuring an object present in a three-dimensional space within a measurable distance predetermined and acquiring point cloud data indicating a position of the object measured in the three-dimensional space, the measurable distance, base station candidate position data indicating a candidate position for installing a base station apparatus, and terminal station candidate position data indicating a candidate position for installing a terminal station apparatus; and specifying a reliability coefficient indicating a degree of reliability of a processing result of a prescribed evaluation processing performed based on the point cloud data, based on the base station positional relationship specification data and the terminal station positional relationship specification data generated.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Provided are an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program that enable construction of a wireless system with consideration given to interference with the surroundings of a certain area. This information processing device is provided with: a first evaluation unit that evaluates a distribution of first wireless radio waves entering the inside of a certain area when wireless radio waves are radiated from one or more transmission points set outside the area; and a determination unit that determines, on the basis of the evaluation result regarding the distribution of the first wireless radio waves, information about the disposition candidate position of a wireless base station to be disposed inside the area.

METHOD FOR REMOTE TERMINAL CONNECTION MANAGEMENT, TERMINAL, AND NETWORK-SIDE DEVICE
A method for remote terminal connection management, a terminal, and a network-side device, and relate to the field of communications technologies. The method for remote terminal connection management includes: sending a first relay request to a network-side device, where the first relay request is used to request the network-side device to perform relay function-related configuration; and receiving first configuration information sent by the network-side device, where the first configuration information includes configuration information of a first Uu RLC bearer, and the first Uu RLC bearer is used to transmit Uu signaling of a remote terminal.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION PROCESS DEVICE, AND DEVICE ADDITION METHOD
A communication system includes: a first node; and a second node that is located at a lower level of the first node and connected to the first node. The second node includes a transmitter that transmits, when the second node is connected to the first node, function identification information for identifying functions installed in the second node, and the first node includes a receiver that receives the function identification information transmitted from the second node, and a processor that is connected to the receiver. The processor executes a process including deciding, based on the function identification information, a function to be enabled or disabled out of the functions installed in the second node, and selecting at least a test item used for verifying the function that is decided to be enabled.
COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM, METHOD FOR CONCURRENT TRANSMISSION BETWEEN ACCESS POINTS, AND ACCESS POINT
A communications system is disclosed. The communications system includes a first access point and a second access point whose operating channels overlap. The first access point and the second access point each measure a signal strength of a response frame sent by a terminal device associated with the first access point, to obtain a first signal strength and a second signal strength. The first access point determines, based on the first signal strength and the second signal strength, a power, a power upper limit, or a power adjustment value to be used by the second access point when the second access point and the first access point perform concurrent transmission. The communications system can perform a step of measuring the signal strength in the concurrent transmission between the access points, and reduce dependence on the terminal device.

DATA COLLECTION ENHANCEMENTS FOR SECONDARY CELL GROUPS
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may support dual connectivity. That is, the UE may establish communications with a master node and a secondary node of a wireless communications network. The master node may correspond to a master cell group (MCG) and the secondary node may correspond to a secondary cell group (SCG). In some examples, as described herein, the UE operating in dual connectivity may collect data for optimization of the wireless communications network or upon detecting a failure associated with the master cell group or the SCG and transmit the collected data to a network entity (e.g., one of the master node or the secondary node), where the collected data is based on the SCG being in a deactivated state. In some examples, upon receiving the collected data, the network entity may attempt to recover from the failure.
