Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining channel cross correlation data relating to multiple user equipment (UEs) being served in a cell, wherein the channel cross correlation data comprises a correlation coefficient associated with a first UE of the multiple UEs and a second UE of the multiple UEs, identifying that the first UE is experiencing decreasing throughput, responsive to the identifying that the first UE is experiencing decreasing throughput, determining whether the correlation coefficient associated with the first UE and the second UE satisfies a correlation threshold, and, based on a first determination that the correlation coefficient does not satisfy the correlation threshold, adjusting a downlink (DL) transmit power allocation for transmissions directed to the first UE. Dynamic signal quality criteria for satellite terminal installations
The described features generally relate to determining dynamic signal quality criteria for an installation of satellite terminals for communications in a satellite communications system. In particular, the signal quality criteria for an installation may be based on an identified position of the satellite terminal to be installed, and in some examples based on the positions and signal characteristics of neighboring satellite terminals that have already been installed. In some examples, a signal quality map may be generated for a service beam coverage area, based on predetermined transmission characteristics and/or measured transmissions from a number of satellite terminals served by a communications satellite. The generated signal quality map may then be used to determine a signal quality threshold for the installation of a satellite terminal being installed for communications in a satellite communications system.

The control method includes: acquiring a current location and current capacities of a drone; selecting a destination point that can be reached by the drone according to the location and capacities thereof, the destination point being located in the coverage area of a point of access to a mobile communication network; and providing the drone with instructions specifying the destination point towards which the drone is to travel and communication operations to be carried out in connection with the mobile communication network. Once the instructions are obtained, the drone moves towards the destination point and performs the communication operation as soon as it reaches the destination point or as soon as the connection quality reaches a satisfying level.

The present disclosure relates to radio network communication. In one of its aspects, the disclosure presented herein concerns a method for retrieving configuration information from a target Base Station (BS) in an E-UTRA New Radio-Dual Connectivity (EN-DC) wireless communication system. The method is performed by a source en-gNB. According to the method, a request message requesting configuration information from the target BS is transmitted to a first proxy evolved Node B (eNB). The request message comprises identifiers identifying the source en-gNB and the target BS, respectively.

The present disclosure relates to radio network communication. In one of its aspects, the disclosure presented herein concerns a method for retrieving configuration information from a target Base Station (BS) in an E-UTRA New Radio-Dual Connectivity (EN-DC) wireless communication system. The method is performed by a source en-gNB. According to the method, a request message requesting configuration information from the target BS is transmitted to a first proxy evolved Node B (eNB). The request message comprises identifiers identifying the source en-gNB and the target BS, respectively.
Selecting a non-access stratum period based on a non-terrestrial access network type
A wireless device receives access network information indicating an access network type. Based on the access network type, a non-access stratum (NAS) period is selected among: a first value associated with a geostationary earth orbit (GEO) non-terrestrial network (NTN) access network type; and a second value associated with a low earth orbit (LEO) NTN access network type. A NAS procedure is initiated by sending a NAS request message. A start of the NAS period is based on the sending. The NAS procedure is aborted based on an expiry of the NAS period.
