There is provided a method for assessing network performance. The method includes acquiring network measurements indicative of any changes in a network following a change to a configuration of the network and data indicative of one or more factors capable of causing the changes in the network. The one or more factors are independent of the change to the configuration of the network. The method includes analysing the acquired network measurements and data to identify a contribution of the one or more factors to a key performance indicator (KPI) and a contribution of the change to the configuration of the network to the KPI. The KPI is predicted by a machine learning model and is a measure of the network performance following the change to the configuration of the network.

USER EQUIPMENT RELAY PROCEDURE
Aspects presented herein may enable a remote UE to notify a base station about the availability of a relay UE that is not connected to the base station. In one aspect, a remote UE transmits, to a relay UE, a relay request via sidelink, the relay UE being in an RRC inactive mode. The remote UE receives, from the relay UE via the sidelink, an indication of relay availability in response to the relay request. The remote UE receives, from a base station, a configuration for relay of communication from the base station over the sidelink between the remote UE and the relay UE. The remote UE transmits or receives user data from the base station through the relay UE based on the configuration.
End-to-end network slice selection and configuration
A system and associated method for enabling end-to-end (E2E) network slicing in a 5G network are described. A (Radio) Access Network-Network Slice Selection Function ((R)AN-NSSF) can be configured to receive a (R)AN slice selection request and to select, from a pool of (R)AN slice instances, a (R)AN network slice instance including one or more (R)AN slice components. A Core Network-Network Slice Selection Function (CN-NSSF) can be configured to receive a CN slice selection request to select, from a pool of CN slice instances, a CN network slice instance including one or more CN slice components. A Network Slice Policy Control (NSPC) function can be configured to verify that the selected (R)AN slice instance and CN slice instance are consistent with operator policies.

METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY ENABLING ACCESS POINT FUNCTION AND RELAY FUNCTION, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Embodiments of this application relate to the field of terminal technologies and disclose a method for automatically enabling an access point function and a relay function, and an electronic device. After an electronic device is powered on, if the electronic device is connected to a wired network and does not use the network within preset duration, an AP mode is enabled; or if the electronic device is connected to a wireless network and does not use the network within preset duration, a repeater mode is enabled. The AP function and the relay function can be automatically enabled on the electronic device such as a personal computer or a smart screen, and an existing device of a consumer can be set as an AP or a repeater. The consumer does not need to buy a dedicated AP or repeater. This improves Wi-Fi use experience of the consumer.
