Modular test and measurement device

A modular test instrument for performing tests and measurements in a network is disclosed. The modular test instrument may include a modular processing unit comprising a processor and memory, the modular processing unit connectable to at least one modular test unit or modular test subunit. The modular test instrument may also include a modular display unit connectable to the modular processing unit or the modular test unit. Display modularity may enable quick and cost-efficient display replacement when damage, malfunction, or failure is incurred. Furthermore, the modular test instrument may include an additional modular test subunit connectable to at least one of the modular processing unit or the modular test unit. When the modular processing unit is fitted with the modular display unit, the modular least, or modular test subunit, for example, the modular test instrument may form an integrated test instrument for performing any number of tests and measurements associated with installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance of a long-term evolution (LTE) or 5G network.

Targeted message validation for mobile devices

Systems and methods are provided for using automated mobile computing device testing to ensure that a given targeted message is actually appearing in an intended manner for various types of intended recipients. The intended content or format of a target message to be presented by each of a plurality of mobile computing devices may be based on characteristics of each device. The targeted message may be sent to each device, and an indication of the actual content and/or format of the targeted message as presented by each device may be received and compared to the intended content or format of the targeted message for each device. Errors associated with the targeted message may be detected based on any discrepancies between the intended content and/or format of the targeted message for each device and the actual content or format of the targeted message as presented by each device.

An access point may receive, associated with a computer, information that specifies a group of access points in a network, where the group includes the access point, a second access point and/or a third access point, and the group of access points are proximate to each other. Then, the access point may receive, associated with the computer, instructions for testing to conduct with the second access point or the second access point and the third access point, where the testing involves wired communication with the second access point, and wireless communication with the second access point or the third access point. Next, the access point may perform, based at least in part on the instructions, the testing with the second access point or the second access point and the third access point. Moreover, the access point may provide, addressed to the computer, test results associated with the access point.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ENABLING CI-CD IN WIRELESS NETWORK

The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method performed by an operation, administration and maintenance (OAM) controller for facilitating continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI-CD) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes transmitting, to a network slice management service (NSMS) consumer, a request to trigger a test upgraded technique for a network function (NF), wherein the request to trigger the test upgraded technique comprises at least one parameter indicated as part of a test network slice information object class (IOC); receiving, from the NSMS consumer, a trigger test response based on the request to trigger the test upgraded technique; and configuring at least one user equipment (UE) with at least one test slice identifier based on the trigger test response.

Automated network voice testing platform

A device initiates voice communication sessions with a media resource function processor (MRFP) of a network, where each voice communication session communicates audio data via one or more network devices of the network. For each voice communication session, the device sends first audio data to the MRFP and receives second audio data from the MRFP via the voice communication session, processes the first audio data and second audio data to determine one or more characteristics of the second audio data, and generates a record concerning the voice communication session based on the one or more characteristics of the second audio data. The device generates a report based on a respective record of each voice communication session, processes the report using an artificial intelligence technique to identify an issue concerning at least one network device, and performs, based on identifying the issue, an action concerning the at least one network device.
