COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application relates to the field of communication technologies, and provides a communication method and apparatus, to determine a measurement periodicity in which a communication device performs layer 1 signal to interference plus noise ratio (L1-SINR) beam measurement based on a channel measurement resource (CMR) and an interference measurement resource (IMR). The method includes: A communication device receives a CMR and an IMR corresponding to the CMR. A terminal measures an L1-SINR of a receive beam based on the CMR and the IMR, to determine an optimal receive beam of the terminal. The CMR and the IMR are channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resources in different CSI-RS resource sets. The communication device determines a value of a first parameter based on repetition corresponding to a CSI-RS resource set corresponding to the CMR, and determines, based on the value of the first parameter, a measurement periodicity for measuring the L1-SINR.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONSISTENT LBT FAILURE DETECTION AND RECOVERY
A method and apparatus for consistent LBT failure detection and recovery. The method is applicable to a terminal equipment, and the method includes when a higher layer receives an LBT failure indication from lower layer(s) and a counter for consistent LBT failure detection is equal to a first value, or, when a higher layer receives an LBT failure indication from lower layer(s) and a counter for consistent LBT failure detection is greater than or equal to a first value and there exists no triggered consistent LBT failures in an active BWP in a serving cell of a terminal equipment, triggering the consistent LBT failures of the active BWP in the serving cell.

Link performance prediction technologies
Various systems and methods for determining and communicating Link Performance Predictions (LPPs), such as in connection with management of radio communication links, are discussed herein. The LPPs are predictions of future network behaviors/metrics (e.g., bandwidth, latency, capacity, coverage holes, etc.). The LPPs are communicated to applications and/or network infrastructure, which allows the applications/infrastructure to make operational decisions for improved signaling/link resource utilization. In embodiments, the link performance analysis is divided into multiple layers that determine their own link performance metrics, which are then fused together to make an LPP. Each layer runs different algorithms, and provides respective results to an LPP layer/engine that fuses the results together to obtain the LPP. Other embodiments are described and/or claimed.

PAGING EARLY INDICATION FOR MULTICAST GROUP NOTIFICATION
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, control signaling that indicates one or more parameters pertaining to reception of paging early indications (PEIs). The UE may receive a PEI from the base station in accordance with the one or more parameters. The UE may determine, based on the PEI, whether the UE is scheduled to receive a multicast paging message from the base station in a subsequent paging occasion (PO). If the UE is scheduled to receive a multicast paging message, the UE may monitor for the multicast paging message in the subsequent PO. Otherwise, the UE may enter a low-power state during the subsequent PO, which may result in greater power savings at the UE. Aspects of the present disclosure may provide for improved multicast paging operations between the UE and the base station.

DATA COLLECTION ENHANCEMENTS FOR SECONDARY CELL GROUPS
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may support dual connectivity. That is, the UE may establish communications with a master node and a secondary node of a wireless communications network. The master node may correspond to a master cell group (MCG) and the secondary node may correspond to a secondary cell group (SCG). In some examples, as described herein, the UE operating in dual connectivity may collect data for optimization of the wireless communications network or upon detecting a failure associated with the master cell group or the SCG and transmit the collected data to a network entity (e.g., one of the master node or the secondary node), where the collected data is based on the SCG being in a deactivated state. In some examples, upon receiving the collected data, the network entity may attempt to recover from the failure.
