Method and apparatus for sending uplink control information for multi-radio access technology operation
A method and apparatus for sending uplink control information by a multi-mode wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) capable of operating on multiple component carriers of a plurality of radio access technologies (RATs) for multi-RAT operation are disclosed. The WTRU may generate uplink control information (UCI) pertaining to a first RAT and a second RAT, wherein the UCI may include a first plurality of hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgements (HARQ-ACKs) pertaining to a plurality of downlink (DL) transmissions of the first RAT and a second plurality of HARQ-ACKs pertaining to a plurality of DL transmissions of the second RAT. The WTRU may multiplex at least part of the generated UCI pertaining to the first RAT and at least part of the generated UCI pertaining to the second RAT onto a physical channel on a component carrier of the second RAT.
MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SELECTING A VIRTUAL CARRIER FOR MACHINE-TYPE COMMUNICATIONS BASED ON MEASUREMENTS OF CHANNEL CONDITIONS
An apparatus and method providing feedback on channel conditions in a wireless telecommunications system including a base station to communicate with plural terminals device using frequencies spanning a system frequency bandwidth. At least one terminal device is a reduced capability terminal device including a tuneable transceiver configured to receive downlink transmissions from the base station using only a restricted frequency bandwidth smaller than and within the system frequency bandwidth. The reduced capability terminal device is configured to communicate information derived from measurements of channel conditions to the base station. The information may include an indication of measured channel conditions for different frequency locations, or an indication of one or more frequency locations for which corresponding measurement of channel conditions meet a pre-defined selection criterion. The base station subsequently schedules downlink transmissions for the terminal device in a manner that takes account of the information received from the terminal device.

The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for de-configuring a cell from PUCCH resource in a carrier aggregation system, the method comprising: configuring a Secondary Cell (SCell) with Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) resource; receiving a Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling indicating that the PUCCH resource is de-configured from the SCell with the PUCCH resource; de-configuring the PUCCH resource from the SCell according to the RRC signaling; re-activating the SCell; and starting a SCell deactivation timer associated with the SCell.

A channel state is adequately reported even if the number of component carriers configurable to a user terminal is expanded to six or more. The user terminal for communicating with a radio base station by use of six or more component carriers includes a measuring section configured to measure reception quality of a downlink channel of each of the component carriers, and a transmission section configured to periodically transmit information relating to the reception quality in accordance with timing specified from the radio base station. The transmission section transmits information relating to reception quality of a plurality of component carriers, at a same subframe, by use of PUSCH or a PUCCH format having a larger capacity as compared with a PUCCH format for existing systems in which a number of configured component carriers is five or less.

The present disclosure relates to a network information analysis in a wireless communication system, and an analysis method comprises the steps of: receiving information on channel quality measured by a terminal; and outputting information on whether a carrier aggregation (CA) coverage mismatch occurs at a location where the channel quality has been measured, which is determined on the basis of the information on the channel quality. The present disclosure relates to a network information analysis in a wireless communication system, and an analysis method comprises the steps of: receiving information on channel quality measured by a terminal; and outputting information on whether a carrier aggregation (CA) coverage mismatch occurs at a location where the channel quality has been measured, which is determined on the basis of the information on the channel quality. Radio link failures, “RLF”, of a wireless device served by a wireless communication network are managed. A first, default, RLF procedure is associated with at least a first type of wireless devices supported by the wireless communication network. The wireless device obtains, e.g. received from a network node information indicative of a second RLF procedure based on that the wireless device is of a second type having an improved radio coverage capability compared to the first type. The wireless device applies, based on the obtained information, said second RLF procedure.
