METHOD FOR MODE SELECTING AND SWITCHING IN DUAL-FREQUENCY INTEGRATED SYSTEM
A method, base station and user equipment are provided for wireless communication. The method can include steps: transmitting data on a first frequency band; transmitting, on a second frequency band, a detection signal for detecting a channel condition of the second frequency band; generating channel condition information about the second frequency band based on the received detection signal; feeding back the channel condition information via the first frequency band; and selecting a current data transmission frequency band based at least in part on the feedback channel condition information about the second frequency band and/or traffic requirement information; wherein the current data transmission frequency band is any one of the first frequency band, the second frequency band or a cooperative transmission of the first frequency band with the second frequency band.
Method and apparatus for LBT failure detection
A method for LBT failure detection performed by a UE is provided. The method includes: receiving, by a MAC entity of the UE, an LBT failure indication from a lower layer for all UL transmissions; increasing an LBT failure counter when the MAC entity receives the LBT failure indication; determining an LBT failure event occurs when the LBT failure counter is greater than or equal to a threshold; and resetting the LBT failure counter after the MAC entity has not received the LBT failure indication for a time period.
Narrowband retuning in wireless communications
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may retune from a first narrowband carrier to a second narrowband carrier. The UE may determine to retune in one or more symbols of either a first narrowband subframe or a second narrowband subframe based on the number of symbols for the UE to retune and a number of other factors. The other factors may include the start symbol of a downlink channel scheduled in the second narrowband subframe, the number of antenna ports configured for the UE, hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) identifier (ID), coding rate or effective coding rate, among others. The UE may determine to retune in the first narrowband subframe, the second narrowband subframe, or in both subframes in order to utilize reference signals transmitted to the UE and reception of all downlink messages scheduled for the UE.
WIFI MULTI-ACCESS POINT - SSID MONITORING AND PROVISIONING ENHANCEMENTS
It is common for device coupled to a primary network to have preferential access to network resources compared to a device coupled to a guest network. However, the quality of experience (QoE) is enhanced by providing automatic switching of a client device on a guest network to a primary network. The dynamic approach switches the network connection of a client device used by a guest user/client device from a guest network to a primary network based on one or more network conditions that are associated with the guest network, the primary network, or both. Seamlessly switching the client device to the primary network, when such does not impact existing users of the primary network, enhances the network experience of the client devices initially associated with the guest network.
NR SIDELINK INTRA-CELL RELAY MEASUREMENT
Method and apparatus for configuring a UE with a relay measurement configuration for measuring one or more candidate relays in preparation of switching to a target relay. The apparatus receives, from a source relay, a candidate relay configuration. The candidate relay configuration including information of candidate relays and a relay measurement configuration. The apparatus measures a reference signal of the source relay and each of the candidate relays based on the candidate relay configuration. The apparatus transmits, to the source relay, a measurement report of the reference signal of the subset of candidate relays. The apparatus establishes a connection with a subset of candidate relays. The apparatus receives, from the source relay, a relay switch command to switch to a target relay from the subset of candidate relays.

HANDOVER IN NON-TERESTRIAL NETWORKS
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support techniques for handover in non-terrestrial networks. The described techniques provide for handovers such that a user equipment (UE) may be provided information prior to handover to facilitate rapid handover and rapid recover if handover fails. The information is based on predicted handovers due to motion of non-terestrial network devices (e.g, satellites).
