SYSTEM AND METHOD TO ADAPT COMMUNICATIONS RESPONSIVE TO ACTIONABLE INTELLIGENCE
Devices, systems, and methods are described that employ actionable intelligence in an emergency or other situation requiring immediate situational awareness, based on multiple types of input. Actionable intelligence is an output providing guidance or information that can be acted on to resolve an incident. The device can be configured to request re-allocation of resources based on incident severity, and bonding technology is used to provide improved speed and reliability in networking communications following a triggering event.

Reuse and management of wireless channels
A network environment includes a communication management resource, a first wireless station, and a second wireless station. The communication management resource initially allocates a first wireless channel to the first wireless station; the first wireless channel is selected from multiple available wireless channels. The communication management resource detects that a second wireless station is a substitute to the first wireless station. For example, the second wireless station is substituted as a replacement to the first wireless station. In response to the detecting that the second wireless station is a substitute to the first wireless station, the communication management resource allocates the first wireless channel to the second wireless station.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USER PLANE PATH SELECTION, RESELECTION, AND NOTIFICATION OF USER PLANE CHANGES
Systems and methods for performing User Plane (UP) path selection or reselection over a communications network with a 3.sup.rd party entity, and for notifying network entities of UP changes in a communications network, are disclosed. The method includes: receiving an application program interface based request for UP path selection from the 3.sup.rd party entity; performing a validation and authorization procedure with the request; transmitting a UP path selection configuration request to a Control Plane Function that maintains configuration data; obtaining a reference number confirming the UP path selection configuration request; and installing the UP path selection according to the reference number.

CUSTOM CONTENT FOR PREMISES MANAGEMENT
Methods and systems for managing a premises are described. A premises or devices at a premises may be associated with one or more premises zones. The one or more premises zones may be associated with corresponding content. If data is received from a device associated with a particular premises zone, then the content may be output. The content may be used to notify a user of an event, state change, or other indication associated with the particular premises zone.

Mobile node host route installation and withdrawal
In general, techniques are described for atomically installing and withdrawing host routes along paths connecting network routers to attenuate packet loss for mobile nodes migrating among wireless LAN access networks and a mobile network. In some examples, whenever the mobile node moves from one attachment point to the next, it triggers the distribution of its host route from the new attachment point toward the service provider network hub provider edge (PE) router that anchors the mobile node on a service provider network. Routers participating in the Mobile VPN install the host route “atomically” from the attachment point to the mobile gateway so as to ensure convergence of the network forwarding plane with the host route toward the new attachment point prior to transitioning mobile node connectivity from a previous attachment point.
