SELECTION OF A SUBSCRIPTION AT A DEVICE
A communication device may be configured to access a plurality of subscriptions for a plurality of providers. For example, a communication device may be configured with at least one subscriber identity module (SIM). For a communication device having a plurality of subscriptions accessible thereto, the selection of a subscription to connect to a destination network may be configurable. The selection of a subscription from a plurality of available subscriptions may be based on a cost (e.g., financial cost, data cost, or another resource) associated with connecting to a destination network using different subscriptions. For example, a first subscription may be selected if connection to the destination network is more expensive using a second subscription and/or if the balance on the second subscription is too low.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SELECTING SIM CARD
The present invention discloses methods and systems for selecting at least one SIM card for data communication at a wireless communication device which is capable of housing a plurality of SIM cards. When a switching condition is satisfied, the wireless communication device selects a second SIM card group, and disconnects one or more connections established using any non-second group SIM card. Non-second group SIM cards are SIM cards that are not in the second SIM card group. A selected SIM card from the second SIM card group is then used for data communications. The steps are repeated until (i) the switching condition is no longer satisfied, (ii) no more SIM cards selected from the second SIM card group can be used for data communications or (iii) no more connection is made using non-second group SIM cards
HS-SCCH ORDER RECOVERY IN MULTI-SUBSCRIBER IDENTITY MODULE (SIM) WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICES
Examples described herein relate to managing communications on a first subscription and a second subscription of a multi-Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) wireless communication device via a Radio Frequency (RF) resource, including, but not limited to, tuning the RF resource away from the second subscription to the first subscription, detecting a network-set activation state of a secondary cell associated with the first subscription, and adjusting the activation state of the secondary cell based on the network-set activation state.

COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
A first distant apparatus performs communication of streaming data and other data for which a change in data transfer rate is required to be suppressed, and a second distant apparatus performs communication of phone book data and other data for which a change in data transfer rate is permitted. When communication with the first distant apparatus and communication with the second distant apparatus are concurrently performed, a first communication unit is selected for communication with the first distant apparatus and a second communication unit, which is faster than the first communication unit, is selected for communication with the second distant apparatus. Thus, it is possible to make a collision in communication less likely to occur, and to maintain the communication quality of the first type of data.
Method and UE for triggering registration procedure within registration area of wireless communication network
A method for triggering a registration procedure by a UE within a registration area of a wireless communication network is provided. The method includes receiving a TAI list in a registration accept message while performing a first registration procedure with the wireless communication network and determining when the UE is moved from a first cell in a first TAI belonging to a first PLMN to a second cell in a second TAI belonging to a second PLMN, determining that the UE is in an RRC inactive state, and automatically triggering a second registration procedure with the wireless communication network, in response to determining that the UE is moved from first cell in first TAI belonging to first PLMN to second cell in second TAI belonging to second PLMN.
5G network slicing with distributed ledger traceability and resource utilization inferencing
Various systems and methods for implementing an edge computing system to realize 5G network slices with blockchain traceability for informed 5G service supply chain are disclosed. A system configured to track network slicing operations includes memory and processing circuitry configured to select a network slice instance (NSI) from a plurality of available NSIs based on an NSI type specified by a client node. The available NSIs uses virtualized network resources of a first network resource provider. The client node is associated with the selected NSI. The utilization of the network resources by the plurality of available NSIs is determined using an artificial intelligence (AI)-based network inferencing function. A ledger entry of associating the selected NSI with the client node is recorded in a distributed ledger, which further includes a second ledger entry indicating allocations of resource subsets to each of the NSIs based on the utilization.

User plane relocation
Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for an access control and mobility management function (AMF) node, comprising a processor configured to receive a N2 session management (SM) information from a session management function (SMF) node, wherein the N2 SM information indicates an available area for N2 information, receive a service request from a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU), determine whether to update the N2 SM information based on a location of the WTRU and the available area for N2 information, wherein if the WTRU is outside of the available area for N2 information, the processor is configured to request a second N2 SM information from the SMF node and update the N2 SM information with the second N2 SM information, and send an N2 request with the N2 SM information to an access network associated with the WTRU. The available area for N2 information may be one or more of a user plane function (UPF) node serving area, a WTRU tracking area, or a radio access network (RAN) cell coverage area.
