Adaptable wireless power, light and automation system for household appliances
A power control unit (100) and method of use thereof for varying the supply of electricity to an electrical apparatus using a wireless communications link between a controller (20) and the power control unit (100). The power control unit (100) is adapted to alternatively communicate with the controller (20) using a non-peer-to-peer communications standard or a peer-to-peer communications standard such as Wi-Fi Direct.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TIMING ADVANCE ADJUSTMENT
Apparatuses and methods for timing advance (TA) adjustment. A method includes receiving first information indicating use of same power and continuous phase for transmission of a channel over a number of slots and second information indicating a first TA value. The method includes determining a second slot for adjusting a time for the transmission of the channel based on the first TA value, a first power for the transmission of the channel in slots before the second slots, and a second power for the transmission of the channel in slots starting from the second slot. The method further includes adjusting the time for the transmission of the channel in the second slot based on the first TA value and transmitting the channel with a first power in slots before the second slot and with a second power in slots starting from the second slot.
Discontinuous reception (DRX) enhancements in LTE systems
Embodiments of a system and method for providing DRX enhancements in LTE systems are generally described herein. In some embodiments, a system control module is provided for controlling communications via a communications interface. A processor is coupled to the system control module and is arranged to implement an inactivity timer and an on-duration timer for determining an active time for monitoring subframes on the physical downlink control channel for control signals, the processor further monitoring subframes after the active time.

Wireless transmission in shared wireless medium environments
Support of coexistence of wireless transmission equipment in shared wireless medium environments is disclosed, which is applicable to various types of wireless transmission equipment. For instance, a wireless power transmission system (WPTS) delivers power to wireless power receiver clients via transmission of wireless power signals using one or more frequencies and/or channels within shared wireless medium environments in which other wireless equipment is operating, such as access points and stations in wireless local area networks (WLANs). The WPTS is configured to co-exist with the operations of the other wireless equipment within the shared wireless medium environment by adapting its transmission operations to utilize frequencies or channels that do not interfere with other equipment and/or implementing co-channel and shared channels operations under which access to channels is implemented using standardized WLAN protocols such as PHY and MAC protocols used for 802.11 (Wi-Fi™) networks.

METHODS AND DEVICES FOR ENHANCEMENT ON SOUNDING REFERENCE SIGNAL (SRS) TRANSMISSION SIGNALING
Method, systems and devices for wireless communication. The method includes performing sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission between a user equipment and a network base station by obtaining a first transmit power of a first SRS resource and determining a second transmit power of a second SRS resource based on the first transmit power of the first SRS resource of a same SRS resource set; transmitting N sets of parameters corresponding to a SRS resource set between the network base station and the user equipment; or transmitting M sections of frequency sounding at a symbol between the user equipment and the network base station, wherein each section of the M sections comprises consecutive physical resource blocks (PRBs), M being a positive integer.
