Method for transmitting or receiving signal using long sequence and apparatus therefor
The present document relates to a method for transmitting a signal using a long sequence in a wireless communication system. According to the method, a transmission side device transmits a signal using the long sequence comprising a combination of a plurality of sub-subsequences, wherein each of the plurality of sub-subsequences comprises a combination of a plurality of short base sequences, each having a length equal to or shorter than a predetermined length, and sequences obtained by multiplying each of the base sequences by a cover sequence.
Method and apparatus for wireless device synchronization in a beam-based communication system
Among other things, the method and apparatus examples herein provide a solution to the problems that arise regarding the need for a wireless device to achieve source synchronization in a beam-based system, where the wireless communication network does not define “cells” for connected-mode wireless devices. The problems relate to how a wireless device can re-synchronize with its source access node in a beam-based system that mainly relies on self-contained transmissions from transmission points in the network. As one example advantage, the contemplated methods and apparatus enable wireless devices to perform measurements to support mobility procedures even when no data transmissions are scheduled.

Disclosed are a method for transmitting and receiving a synchronization signal in a wireless communication system supporting NarrowBand-Internet of Things (NB-IoT) and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, the method for transmitting and receiving a synchronization signal may include: receiving, from a base station, a narrowband synchronization signal; and performing a cell search procedure for the base station based on the narrowband synchronization signal, in which the narrowband synchronization signal may include a narrowband primary synchronization signal and a narrowband secondary synchronization signal, the narrowband primary synchronization signal and the narrowband secondary synchronization signal may be transmitted in different subframe, and the subframe in which the narrowband secondary synchronization signal is transmitted may be configured differently according to a type of a radio frame structure.
User equipment and base station apparatus for transmitting a random access preamble
A user equipment for communicating with a base station apparatus is disclosed, the user equipment including a receiver that receives information related to random access; a processor that identifies, based on the information related to the random access, a first preamble format, a second preamble format, and random access channel resources; a transmitter that transmits a random access preamble using the random access channel resources, wherein the transmitter transmits the random access preamble using a last resource in a time domain of the random access channel resources and the second preamble format, and the transmitter transmits the random access preamble using a resource other than the last resource in the time domain and the first preamble format. In other aspects, a base station apparatus and a communication method are also disclosed.
Method of transmitting and receiving system information and device therefor
The present disclosure provides a method of receiving system information by a user equipment in a wireless communication system. Particularly, the method may include receiving a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) including Downlink Control Information (DCI) for scheduling the system information; descrambling a Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) of the DCI based on a System Information-Radio Network Temporary Identifier (SI-RNTI); obtaining first information on a type of the system information from a specific bit included in the DCI; receiving the system information based on second information for scheduling the system information, which is included in the DCI; and determining the type of the system information based on the first information.
Method for sending synchronization signal in unlicensed frequency band, network device, and terminal device
One embodiment of the invention describes a synchronization signal sending method applied to an unlicensed frequency band. To ensure transmission fairness, a network device performs listen before talk (LBT) before a start time for transmitting a synchronization signal, to determine whether a channel is busy or idle. When the channel is busy, the network device cannot transmit the synchronization signal at the expected start time for transmitting the synchronization signal. Therefore, the network device performs LBT again within a preset time length after the start time, and sends the synchronization signal when determining that the channel is idle by performing LBT again. When the channel is idle, the network device preempts a channel resource, and sends the synchronization signal the expected start time for transmitting the synchronization signal.
Communication method and communications apparatus
This application provides a communication method and a communications device. The method includes: obtaining, by a first communications device, authorization information, where the authorization information indicates that a second communications device is a device that needs to perform time synchronization; and providing, by the first communications device, time information for the second communications device based on the authorization information; or obtaining, by the first communications device, authorization information, where the authorization information indicates that the second communications device is not a device that needs to perform time synchronization; and skipping, by the first communications device, providing time information for the second communications device based on the authorization information, to avoid broadcasting the time information to all communications devices, so that a time synchronization service can be provided for a specific communications device.
