In some examples, a first device may detect the presence of a second device or a particular person and, when a triggering event related to the second device or the particular person applies, the first device may change from a first mode to a second mode.

TECHNIQUES FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING PAGING MESSAGES OVER AN UNLICENSED RADIO FREQUENCY SPECTRUM BAND

Techniques are described for wireless communication. A first method includes receiving a transmission including a paging group indicator and an indication of a time window. The transmission may be received at a user equipment (UE) over an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. The first method may also include monitoring, based on the paging group indicator, the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band during the time window to receive an asynchronous paging message from a base station. A second method includes transmitting the transmission over the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band; performing a number of clear channel assessments (CCAs) on the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band during the time window; and transmitting the paging message over the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band at a transmission time during the time window. The transmission time may be based on a result of at least one of the CCAs.

RESOURCE ALLOCATION METHOD FOR PAGING MESSAGE, NETWORK NODE AND USER EQUIPMENT

Provided are a frequency domain resource allocation method for a paging message of an MTC user equipment, a corresponding network node and a user equipment. The method according to embodiments of the present invention comprises: allocating a resource block set for sending a paging message to an MTC user equipment; and sending resource allocation indication information to the MTC user equipment, with the resource allocation indication information including first information indicating the position of a starting resource block of the resource block set and second information indicating the number of resource blocks which are continuously allocated and included in the resource block set. By means of the embodiments of the present invention, a user equipment can determine the position of a paging message on a frequency domain, so as to read the paging message.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONFIGURING BI-DIRECTIONAL CHANNEL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method and apparatus for configuring a bi-directional channel in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) configures the bi-directional channel which is used for either an uplink (UL) channel or a sidelink (SL) channel, and transmits data via at least one of the UL channel or the SL channel. The bi-direction channel may be used for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING CALLS

A computer-implemented method for managing calls in a collaboration environment is provided. The method includes receiving, by a processor, a call into a collaboration session of the collaboration environment. The method also includes identifying, by the processor, a user from a plurality of users associated with the collaboration session, based on at least one of contextual information regarding the call and information regarding the plurality of users. The method further includes providing, by the processor, an interface on a device associated with the identified user, wherein the interface enables the identified user to instruct the device to handle the call within the collaboration session.

Method for monitoring paging message, mobile terminal and server

An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for monitoring a paging message, a mobile terminal, and a server. The method for monitoring the paging message is operable by a mobile terminal and includes: detecting whether the mobile terminal is in a connected state where the mobile terminal is connected with a wireless access device accessing the Internet; when the mobile terminal is in the connected state where the mobile terminal is connected with the wireless access device, monitoring the paging message according to a first paging cycle; when otherwise, monitoring the paging message according to a second paging cycle, wherein the first paging cycle is longer than the second paging cycle, and the second paging cycle is equal to a cycle according to which a core network transmits the paging message.

MOBILE COMMUNICATION METHOD, NETWORK APPARATUS, AND BASE STATION

A network apparatus includes: a receiver configured to receive, from a base station, information relating to a cell on which a predetermined user terminal camps or a base station; a storage configured to store the information; and a controller configured to decide, based on the information, a base station to which a paging message is transmitted.

Dynamic power sharing in a communications network

Aspects relate to the extension of cross-slot scheduling for power efficient paging between different New Radio (NR) operating platforms or environments. In some examples, the same paging downlink control information (DCI) may be shared between existing NR user equipment (UE) and new NR UE in different time slots, where a single paging DCI schedules multiple paging messages for each operating environment. In some examples, the same paging physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) occasion may be shared in existing NR and new NR operating environments for scheduling paging messages in different time slots, but different DCIs are used for scheduling the paging messages. In some examples, the same physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) paging message may be shared in different slots between existing NR and new NR operating environments.

Time domain resource allocation for downlink shared channel

A mechanism for time domain resource allocation for downlink shared channel, in which the time domain resource is allocated according to CORESET configurations when SS/PBCH block and RMSI CORESET are multiplexed with Type 1, Type 2 or Type 3 pattern.
