LOCATION SHARING APPLICATION IN ASSOCIATION WITH SERVICES PROVISION
A system for exchanging GPS or other position data between wireless devices for purposes of group activities, child location monitoring, work group coordination, dispatching of employees etc. Cell phones and other wireless devices with GPS receivers have loaded therein a Buddy Watch application and a TalkControl application. The Buddy Watch application communicates with the GPS receiver and other wireless devices operated by buddies registered in the users phone as part of buddy groups or individually. GPS position data and historical GPS position data can be exchanged between cell phones of buddies and instant buddies such as tow truck drivers via a buddy watch server. Emergency monitoring services can be set up with notifications to programmable individuals in case an individual does not respond. Positions and tracks can be displayed. TalkControl simplifies and automates the process of joining talk groups for walkie talkie services such as that provided by Nextel.

Communication method for implementing dual card, dual standby and dual pass connections in a terminal
A terminal supporting dual-receive single-transmit dual-card dual-standby single-pass includes a first subscriber identity module (SIM) card interface and a second SIM card interface. The first SIM card interface is configured to communicate with a first SIM card, and the second SIM card interface is configured to communicate with a second SIM card. When the terminal is in a first communications connection, the terminal receives a paging request for setting up a second communications connection. When the terminal receives the paging request for the second communications connection, if the terminal has a to-be-sent voice packet of the first communications connection, the terminal delays responding to the paging request for setting up the second communications connection, or if the terminal has no to-be-sent voice packet of the first communications connection, the terminal responds to the paging request for setting up the second communications connection.

SERVICE PRIORITY INFORMATION FOR MULTI-SIM USER EQUIPMENT PAGING
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for service priority information for multi-SIM user equipment (UE) paging. An exemplary method generally includes communicating with a first network using a first set of credentials, wherein the UE includes a second set of credentials associated with a second network; receiving a paging message for an information transmission in the second network, wherein the paging message includes service priority information corresponding to the information transmission; determining, from the service priority information, a service priority value corresponding to the information transmission based, at least in part, on policy configuration information; determining whether to establish a connection in the second network in response to the paging message based, at least in part, on the service priority value; and taking one or more actions based, at least in part, on the determination.
Method and apparatus for MTC in a wireless communication system
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a method and apparatus for performing or supporting machine-type communications (MTC). A method for a terminal to establish a connection to a server according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a triggering message including a triggering identifier from a network; and a step of requesting a data connection to the server using the triggering information contained in the triggering message. The triggering identifier can be set to a predetermined value for distinguishing the triggering message from other types of messages.
RADIO COMMUNICATION DEVICE, RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND BEAM CONTROL METHOD
A radio communication device including a memory that stores information on a strength of interference between a beam output by a first base station and a beam output by a second base station for each of a plurality of combinations, each of the plurality of combinations including at least one of a plurality of beams output by the first base station and at least one of a plurality of beams output by the second base station, emitting directions of each of the plurality of beams output by the first base station being different each other, emitting directions of each of the plurality of beams output by the second base station being different each other, and a processor configured to identify one or more combinations having the interference strength higher than a threshold, and assign different radio resources to each of beams included in the identified one or more combinations.

Method and terminal for processing data transmission service
A method for processing data transmission services and a terminal are disclosed. The method includes: after a radio link disconnection occurs in a process of only performing the data transmission services of a packet-switched domain in a dedicated state, if judging that a timing value configured with a first timer is 0, a terminal deleting a radio access bearer and a signaling connection of the packet-switched domain; and if judging that a timing value configured with a second timer is not 0, initiating a cell update process, wherein, the first timer is a timer used for monitoring reestablishment of packet-switched domain services; the second timer is a timer used for monitoring reestablishment of circuit-switched domain services. According to the above scheme, the flow of processing a stream interruption of the terminal in a data transmission process can be perfected, and the drawbacks of the existing flow can be solved.
Local Traffic Offload Function with Overloaded S5 and SGI Interface
A system and method is disclosed for allowing a Third-Party (TP) User Equipment (UE) to use a base station/access point (BS/AP), such as a 4G eNodeB (eNB) or a 5G gNodeB (gNB) of a private network, such as an enterprise network to access components of a network core, such as an Evolved Packet Core (EPC) in the TP network while also having access to features provided by or through components of an EPC within the private network.
