Methods and apparatus are provided to enable on-demand requests for a time reference for time-sensitive communications (TSC). The network can optionally configure a UE to enable on-demand requests for TSC. When the UE needs a time reference for TSC, the UE sends a message to the network including an explicit indication that a time reference for TSC is needed by the UE. In response to the request, the network sends to the UE on-demand system information comprising the time reference in a broadcast message or a dedicated message.

Radio bearer switching in radio access

In accordance with the example embodiments of the invention there is performing a communication including transmitting packets of a first traffic subflow and packets of a second traffic subflow via a first radio bearer to a second device; detecting that further packets of the second traffic subflow are to be transmitted via a second radio bearer to the second device; and based on the detecting, transmitting a packet data unit via the first radio bearer to the second device, wherein the packet data unit includes an indication of a switch of the second traffic flow to the second radio bearer, and wherein packets of the first traffic flow continues to be transmitted via the first radio bearer. In accordance with the example embodiments there is receiving from a first device a communication packets of a first traffic subflow and packets of a second traffic subflow via a first radio bearer; receiving from the first device a packet data unit including an indication that further packets of the second traffic subflow are to be received via a second radio bearer, wherein the first traffic flow continues to be received via the first radio bearer; establishing the second radio bearer between a second device and the first device; and based on the establishing, receiving the further packets of the second traffic flow via the second radio bearer.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OBTAINING CRITICAL UPDATE INFORMATION BETWEEN MLDS IN WIRELESS LAN SYSTEM
20230217271 · 2023-07-06 ·

Proposed are a method and a device for obtaining critical update information between MLDs in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a reception MLD transmits a probe request frame to a transmission MLD through a first link. The reception MLD receives a probe response frame from the transmission MLD through the first link. The transmission MLD comprises a first transmission STA operating in the first link and a second transmission STA operating in a second link. The probe request frame comprises a change sequence element which requests critical update information of the second transmission STA. The probe response frame comprises the critical update information of the second transmission STA.

WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD USING MULTI-LINK, AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION TERMINAL USING SAME
20230217521 · 2023-07-06 ·

A station of a multi-link device is disclosed. The station of the multi-link device comprises a transmission/reception unit and a processor. The multi-link device operates in a first link and a second link, which are non-simultaneous transmit and receive (STR) links in which simultaneous performance of reception by the multi-link device in any one link and the transmission by the multi-link device in another link is not supported. The processor determines that the transmission by another station of the multi-link device in the first link is performed, and if all of one or more predetermined conditions are not satisfied in the second link, the processor performs channel access according to channel access restrictions during the predetermined time from the time when the transmission by the other station in the first link is completed. The channel access restrictions determine whether a wireless medium is valid by using determination conditions.

METHODS AND APPARATUS OF A BASE STATION FOR SUBSEQUENT TRANSMISSION IN INACTIVE STATE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION

A base station (BS) comprising a processor configured to perform operations is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the operations include receiving an initial data from a UE is in a RRC_INACTIVE while the UE does not transition from the RRC_INACTIVE state to a RRC_CONNECTED state. In addition, the operations include transmitting a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) for a UE dedicated scheduling for a transmission or reception of a subsequent data during an active period, while the UE is in the RRC INACTIVE state. Furthermore, the operations include receiving or transmitting the subsequent data transmission based on the dedicated scheduling. The operations additionally include transmitting one or more configurations for the transmission or reception of the subsequent data. The one or more configurations is transmitted as part of the RRC release message. The one or more configurations is transmitted as part of a System Information Block (SIB).
