METHODS FOR MULTI-SIM UE CONNECTED MODE OPERATION

Methods and apparatuses are described herein for multi-subscriber identification module (SIM) connected mode operation. In one embodiment, a wireless communications device may receive, from an access stratum interface, a request access to the receiver chain during a receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may determine that the receiver chain is available during the receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may send a response indicating access is granted to cause the access stratum interface to receive a downlink transmission during the receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may receive, from the access stratum interface, a second request for a transmitter chain during a transmitting opportunity. The wireless communications device may determine that the transmitter chain is available during the transmitting opportunity. The wireless communications device may send a second response indicating access is granted to enable the access stratum interface to transmit an uplink transmission during the transmitting opportunity.

Announcement for application aware scheduling

Methods and devices for announcement messages for application aware scheduling in a wireless communication network include receiving, from the network node, an RRC Connection Reconfiguration message including an announcement message indicating a Network Type and Software Version Number, N-TSVN for an extended protocol. It may be determined that a UE Software Version Number, UE-SVN, is compatible with the N-TSVN received in the announcement message. The UE may transmit to the network node, an initial message including the UE-SVN, in response to the determining that the UE-SVN is compatible with the N-TSVN.

A control device (15a) includes a control unit configured to: acquire a switching request based on a latency measured in a first application function (AF) (30) disposed in a first network slice (5) or in a terminal device (40) communicating with the first AF (30); and switch, based on the acquired switching request, a core network to be connected to the terminal device (40) from a first core network (10a) disposed in the first network slice (5) to a second core network (10b) disposed in a second network slice (6) by using the first AF (30), or using the first AF (30) and the terminal device (40), as an anchor.

COMMUNICATION PARAMETER ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS, DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
20220408335 · 2022-12-22 ·

Disclosed are a communication parameter adjustment method and apparatus, a device and a storage medium, relating to the field of mobile communications. The method comprises: sending a first instruction to a first node, wherein the first instruction is used for triggering the adjustment of quality of service (QoS) parameters, and the adjustment of the QoS parameters comprises selecting, from among multiple QoS parameter combinations, a first QoS parameter combination for activation. Resources corresponding to the QoS parameter combinations have been allocated or a corresponding connection has been established, and therefore, a network device can directly decide to activate a first QoS parameter combination or a certain connection according to the instruction of a terminal or the network itself, so that the execution time is shortened, the QoS parameter adjustment efficiency is improved, and the communication quality is guaranteed.
