Instant mobile alerting system and method of use
A cloud based and on-premise based notification solution for notifying people of a pending, occurring, or ongoing event. These can be emergency, non-emergency or informative in nature. The notification solution is deployed in the form of a mobile software application which can be downloaded by end users to their personal mobile device and used to sync with desired notification system(s). A mobile software application, commonly referred to as an “app,” is downloaded to a user's mobile device, such as a smart phone or tablet computer. Once there, the user can be notified of any emergency or non-emergency notifications by others in any networks the user joins. Signing up to new networks for new notifications, the user is never required to provide any personally identifiable information.
METHOD BY WHICH VEHICLE, TERMINAL, AND NETWORK TRANSMIT SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND VEHICLE, TERMINAL, AND NETWORK THEREFOR
A method by which a network transmits a signal in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method can comprise: establishing a communication link with a vehicle and at least one terminal positioned in the vehicle; receiving, from the at least one terminal, a first message for requesting a service or a second message for notifying of the occurrence of a shock event; and transmitting, to the vehicle, a third message indicating i) the provision of the service or ii) an instruction associated with the shock event, on the basis of the first message or the second message.

Wireless communication system
A wireless communication system includes a base station and direct wave communication stations that communicate with the base station. At least one of the base station and the direct wave communication stations includes a number-of-bands switching unit that switches, on the basis of a communication state, a number of bands for direct wave communication, by dividing a band for direct wave communication. One of the plurality of direct wave communication stations receives a narrowband carrier in the divided band.

Techniques for Registering An Internet Protocol (IP) Endpoint For Emergency Services Calling
Techniques are described for obtaining current location data for a non-traditional telephony endpoint for emergency calling purposes. An emergency services (ES) provider receives, from a telephony server responding to a telecommunication session establishment request from a telephony endpoint, a location registration request, the location registration request including telephony endpoint identification information and a mobile device telephone number. The ES provider may send a short message service (SMS) message to the mobile device telephone number, the SMS message including an executable registration link that when executed on a mobile device receiving the SMS message causes the mobile device to retrieve location data of the mobile device. The ES provider may then receive the current location data from the mobile device and store it and the telephony endpoint identification information for subsequent use should a 911 call be made from that telephony endpoint. The ES provider may then send the telephony server an authorization acknowledgement for the telecommunication session establishment request.

Systems and methods for determining a user equipment battery level
An application function (AF) device may identify a user equipment (UE) and may send, to a network exposure function (NEF) device, a battery level request message concerning a battery of the UE. The AF device may obtain, from the NEF device, based on sending the battery level request message, a battery level report, and may cause, based on the battery level report, at least one action to be performed.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING DISCOVERY OF EDGE APPLICATION SERVERS
The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. Embodiments herein provide a method for method for managing discovery of an edge application servers (310). The method includes sending, by an edge enabler client (120) of a UE (100), an initial service provisioning request to an edge configuration server (400). Further, the method includes receiving, by the edge enabler client (120), an initial service provisioning response comprises an information element from the edge configuration server (400), where the information element indicates the supported discovery mode. Further, the method sending, by the edge enabler client (120), a request for discovering the edge application server (310) to at least one of the edge configuration server (400), a dedicated server for an edge application server information, and a Domain Name System (DNS) server based on the supported discovery mode.
