Method and Apparatus for Transmitting System Parameters of Soft Access Device, Device and Medium
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for transmitting system parameters of a soft access device, a device and a medium. A method for acquiring system parameters of a soft access device includes: receiving a broadcast message sent by the soft access device on a main link, a reduced neighbor report information element in the broadcast message including a multi-link device identifier, an identifier of a non-main link and a system parameter change count; sending a first message for requesting system parameters on the non-main link to the soft access device on the main link in a case that the received broadcast message indicates that a value of a system parameter change count corresponding to the non-main link is different from that of a system parameter change count received last time; and receiving a second message in response to the first message and sent by the soft access device on the main link.
COMMUNICATION-PERFORMANCE CHARACTERIZATION VIA AUGMENTED REALITY
An electronic device that assesses communication performance is described. During operation, the electronic device receives information specifying a location in an environment. For example, the information may correspond to user-interface activity associated with a user interface. Notably, the user interface may include an augmented reality and the user-interface activity may include defining the location, such as by dropping a pin in the augmented reality. Then, the electronic device provides the information to an access point and/or a controller of the access point, where the location is within communication range of the access point. Next, the electronic device receives, from the access point and/or the controller, measurements of one or more communication performance metrics at or proximate to the location during a time interval. Moreover, the electronic device provides a graphical representation of the communication performance at or proximate to the location based at least in part on the measurements.
NETWORK SHARING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING MULTIPLE OPERATORS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to a communication technique for convergence of internet of things (IoT) technology and a 5th generation (5G) or a pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond a 4th generation (4G) communication system, such as the long term evolution (LTE) and a system therefor. The disclosure is applied to intelligent services (for example, smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, healthcare, digital education, retail businesses, security-and safety-related services, and the like) based on 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology. A network sharing method and an apparatus for supporting multiple operators in a wireless communication system are provided.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COMMUNICATION NODE STATUS INFORMATION INDICATION AND ACQUISITION
Systems and methods for wireless communications are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a wireless communication method for wireless communication between a first communication node and a second communication node includes obtaining, by the second communication node, status information related to the first communication node. In some embodiments, a wireless communication method for wireless communication between a first communication node and a second communication node includes transmitting, by the first communication node to the second communication node, status information related to the first communication node.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR UPDATING CONFIGURATION INFORMATION OF DOWNSTREAM DEVICES DURING INTER-DONOR MIGRATION
The present disclosure describes methods, systems, and devices for updating configuration information for a downstream device of a migrating integrated access backhaul node (IAB-node) during an inter-donor migration from a source IAB-donor to a target IAB-donor. The method includes providing, by an IAB-donor central unit (CU), updated configuration information into system information which is contained in a system information block (SIB) other than SIB1 carried in a SystemInformation (SI) message, and encoding the system information with the updated configuration information. The method also include sending, by the IAB-donor CU, the system information including the updated configuration information as a radio resource control (RRC) container to a migrating IAB-node distributed unit (DU) via F1-AP. The method further includes the migrating IAB-node DU forwards the system information including the updated configuration information through a dedicated RRC message to the downstream device.
Method for reducing power consumption of terminal in mobile communication system using multi-carrier structure
A method for reducing power consumption of a terminal that communicates with a base station in a mobile communication system using a multi-carrier structure composed of a primary component carrier and at least one secondary component carrier comprises: receiving a discontinuous reception (DRX) parameter group for multi carriers from the base station; and setting the multi carriers to the same parameter value, by using the received parameter group. The method for reducing power consumption of the terminal further comprises: performing a downlink control channel receive operation on each carrier according to a DRX cycle. As the base station in the mobile communication system using the multi-carrier structure simplifies the DRX process for reducing power consumption of a terminal by reducing signaling load for the multi-carrier control of the terminal, it becomes possible to reduce power consumption of the terminal.
Partitioning of frequency resources for transmission of control signals and data signals in SC-FDMA communication systems
Methods and apparatuses are provided for determining a resource for an acknowledgement signal in a wireless communication system. A transceiver of a user equipment (UE) receives a parameter associated with one or more resource blocks (RBs) for periodic transmission of a channel quality indication (CQI) signal in an operating bandwidth. A controller of the UE determines an RB for transmission of the acknowledgement signal, based on the parameter. The transceiver transmits the acknowledgement signal on the determined RB. The RB for the transmission of the acknowledgement signal is not more outer than the one or more RBs for periodic transmission of the CQI signal in the operating bandwidth.
Radio communication device and response signal spreading method
A radio communication device capable of randomizing both inter-cell interference and intra-cell interference. In this device, a spreading section primarily spreads a response signal in a ZAC sequence set by a control unit. A spreading section secondarily spreads the primarily spread response signal in a block-wise spreading code sequence set by the control unit. The control unit controls the cyclic shift amount of the ZAC sequence used for the primary spreading in the spreading section and the block-wise spreading code sequence used for the secondary spreading in the spreading section according to a set hopping pattern. The hopping pattern set by the control unit is made up of two hierarchies. An LB-based hopping pattern different for each cell is defined in the first hierarchy in order to randomize the inter-cell interference. A hopping pattern different for each mobile station is defined in the second hierarchy to randomize the intra-cell interference.
Method for performing handover, user equipment, and radio communication system
A mobile station in a wireless communication network. The mobile station includes a radio communication that transmits an access request message to a base station via a first communication resource, and receives a timing adjustment in response to the access request message from the base station. The mobile station also includes an adjustment value storage unit that stores the timing adjustment, and a control unit that adjusts access timing corresponding to a second communication resource based on the timing adjustment value stored in the adjustment value storage unit. The radio communication unit then communicates with the base station via the first communication resource and the second communication resource.
