ACCESS POINT MANAGEMENT
An Access Point (AP) connection device establishes a virtual Inter-Process Communication (IPC) connection with each of a plurality of APs. The AP connection device establishes a Controlling and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points (CAPWAP) tunnel connection with a wireless Access Controller (AC).
A BASE STATION AND A METHOD THERETO
Disclosed is a base station including at least one baseband processing unit, a front-haul network and at least one remote radio unit. The base station further includes an adaptation unit configured to control transmission data packets between the baseband processing unit and at least one remote radio unit. The adaptation unit includes a buffer module and a communication module that is configured to determine if the buffer module includes at least one data packet to be transmitted at a scheduled instant of time, and in response to a detection that the at least one data packet is missing the communication module inserts padding data to the buffer module. The invention also relates to a method thereto.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A narrow-bandwidth terminal device performs radio communication at a bandwidth narrower than a system bandwidth. The narrow-bandwidth terminal device in an idle state camps on a cell, and performs discontinuous reception of a signal transmitted from the cell. The terminal device also determines a reception condition of the signal, for example, whether the signal can be received. When it is determined that the signal cannot be received, the narrow-bandwidth terminal device moves out of a coverage area of the cell while continuing to perform the discontinuous reception. When it is determined that a discontinuous reception timer has been completed, the narrow-bandwidth terminal device continues to perform the discontinuous reception.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ENHANCING CARRIER AGGREGATION
Provided in the present invention is a method, base station, and user equipment for configuring a serving cell group. The method includes: a base station transmitting serving cell group configuration information to a user equipment having carrier aggregation capability, where the serving cell group configuration information indicates a reference cell used for transmitting uplink control information of a serving cell. The present invention allows the base station to flexibly configure multiple PUCCH reference cells and to configure different PUCCH reference cells on the basis of different cell loads.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING CONTROL INFORMATION FOR COORDINATED TRANSMISSION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure is to effectively perform coordinated transmission in a wireless communication system. A base station includes a controller for providing control to generate control information including channel state information and buffer occupancy state related information of terminals, and a communication unit for transmitting the control information. In addition, the present disclosure also includes other exemplary embodiments different from the aforementioned exemplary embodiments.
SIGNAL RECEIVING METHOD AND USER EQUIPMENT, AND SIGNAL RECEIVING METHOD AND BASE STATION
The present invention provides an uplink signal transmission/receiving method and an apparatus therefor, and a downlink signal transmission/receiving method and an apparatus therefor. In a half duplex frequency division duplex (HD-FDD), when uplink transmission and downlink receipt are performed on the same subframe or neighboring subframes, a user equipment drops one of the uplink transmission and the downlink receipt according to a priority, and performs only transmission which is not dropped. The priority includes periodically unavailable resources, that is, aperiodic resources, taking priority over periodically available resources. If the uplink transmission is periodic, for example assigned in a semi-static manner or in a semi-persistent manner, and a downlink transmission is aperiodic, for example assigned dynamically, the user equipment drops the uplink transmission and performs the downlink receipt.
COMMUNICATION CONTROL APPARATUS AND BASE STATION
A communication control apparatus according to a first feature is used in a mobile communication system. The communication control apparatus includes: a controller configured to perform control related to a radio access bearer established between a user terminal and a serving gateway. The radio access bearer is configured with: a first bearer between the user terminal and a base station; and a second bearer between the base station and the serving gateway. The communication control apparatus is positioned on the second bearer. The controller is configured to maintain at least some sections of the second bearer without releasing, even when the first bearer is released.
METHODS AND ARRANGEMENTS FOR MANAGING RADIO LINK FAILURES IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORK
Radio link failures, “RLF”, of a wireless device served by a wireless communication network are managed. A first, default, RLF procedure is associated with at least a first type of wireless devices supported by the wireless communication network. The wireless device obtains, e.g. received from a network node information indicative of a second RLF procedure based on that the wireless device is of a second type having an improved radio coverage capability compared to the first type. The wireless device applies, based on the obtained information, said second RLF procedure.
Beam Information Acquisition Method and Apparatus and Communications System
A beam information acquisition method and apparatus and a communications system. The method includes: transmitting a first reference signal to a user equipment by using K antenna elements; receiving a beam index fed back by the user equipment; determining a vector having a length K according to the beam index; estimating a vector having a length L according to the vector having a length K; determining multiple weighting vectors based on the vector having a length L; transmitting the weighted second reference signal to the user equipment; and receiving feedback information on multiple transmission antenna ports fed back by the user equipment, and obtaining beam weighting information according to the feedback information. Hence, the base station may relatively accurately obtain the beam weighting information, and the beam weighting information may be better applied to a massive MIMO system
