SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENABLING VPN-LESS SESSION SETUP FOR CONNECTING MOBILE DATA DEVICES TO AN ENTERPRISE DATA NETWORK
A mobile application gateway configured to interconnect mobile communication devices on a cellular network with an enterprise network is provided. The mobile application gateway includes a voice and data signaling gateway configured to provide routing functionalities, service functionalities and admission control. A gateway GPRS support node (GGSN) is configured to establish a secure data session between one or more of the mobile communication devices and the enterprise network by establishing a GPRS tunneling protocol (GTP) tunnel between a carrier-hosted serving GPRS support node (SGSN) and the GGSN.
ROBUST BEAM SWITCH SCHEDULING
Systems and methods are described for robust scheduling of beam switching patterns in satellite communications systems. Embodiments operate in context of a hub-spoke satellite communications architecture having a number of gateway terminals servicing large numbers of user terminals over a number of spot beams. The satellite includes switching subsystems that distribute capacity to the user beams from multiple of the gateway terminals in a shared manner according to a beam group switching pattern. The beam group switching pattern is robustly formulated to continue distributing capacity during gateway outages (e.g., when one or two gateway terminals are temporarily non-operational due to rain fade, equipment failure, etc.). For example, the beam group switching pattern can be formulated to minimize worst-case degradation of capacity across user beams, to prioritize certain beams or beam groups, etc.

Method And System For A Mesh Network Of Satellite Reception Assemblies
A satellite reception assembly that provides satellite television and/or radio service to a customer premises may comprise a wireless interface via which it can communicate with other satellite reception assemblies. Wireless connections between satellite reception assemblies may be utilized for providing satellite content between different satellite customer premises. Wireless connections between satellite reception assemblies may be utilized for offloading traffic from other network connections.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR BIDIRECTIONAL IP FLOW MOBILITY CONTROL
Embodiments of the present disclosure describe apparatuses and methods for bidirectional IP flow mobility control. Various embodiments may include a UE with signaling circuitry to establish a multi-access packet data network (PDN) connection with at least two radio access technologies to enable Internet Protocol (IP) flow mobility based on the at least two radio access technologies. The UE may further include processing circuitry to control IP flow mobility between the UE and a PDN Gateway (PGW) based on a bidirectional signaling protocol that enables a coexistence of IP flow mobility initiated based on network policies and IP flow mobility initiated based on UE policies. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
INTERNET ACCESS AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND CLIENT, AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure discloses an Internet access authentication method and client, and a computer storage medium. The Internet access authentication method includes establishing a network connection to a subnetwork; displaying, in a browser, a login page specified by a wireless access point, a network application icon used for Internet access being displayed on the login page; receiving an operation on the network application icon, and authenticating first data by sending the first data to a network server, the first data comprising: a gateway address, a wireless access point address, and a device address; and making a network connection when authentication on the first data succeeds.
Support for CUPS PFCP session at UE level for serving gateway
A method, system and computer readable medium for providing support for CUPS PFCP Session at UE Level for Serving Gateway are presented. In one embodiment, a method includes providing a Packet Forwarding Control Protocol (PFCP) session at a User Equipment (UE) level for a Serving Gateway (SGW); anchoring, by the SGW, the UE session; handling, by the SGW, buffering of Idle UE and UE Active-to-Idle transitions; using, by the SGW, a same PFCP session for all Packet Data Networks (PDNs); and using, by the SGW, a same Buffering Action Rule (BAR) for all PDNs.
Detecting airwave congestion and using variable handshaking granularities to reduce airwave congestion
A wireless sensing system includes a gateway node configured to wirelessly communicate with a plurality wireless nodes in an environment, and a first set of the plurality of wireless nodes, each wireless node of the first set configured to wirelessly communicate with the gateway node and to wirelessly communicate with other wireless nodes of the plurality of wireless nodes, each wireless node of the first set comprising a same first group identifier. The gateway node is configured to address the first set of the plurality of the wireless nodes by addressing all wireless nodes in the environment that broadcast the first group identifier.
Method and apparatus of communication between terminal and base station, and network access method and apparatus of a terminal
Embodiments of the present application provide a method and apparatus of communication between a terminal and a base station. The communication method between a terminal and a base station performed by the terminal includes: sending, by the terminal, a network access request frame with a first preamble to a relay device. The relay device may be configured to receive the network access request frame according to the first preamble, send the network access request frame with a second preamble to the base station, and receive a network access response frame returned by the base station. The length of the second preamble may be smaller than that of the first preamble. The communication method may further includes receiving, by the terminal, the network access response frame sent by the relay device.
Cross-resource subscription for M2M service layer
A subscriber issues a message to a resource host to request subscription to multiple resources. This message may indicate identifiers of these resources, event notification criteria for each individual resource and define cross-resource notification criteria such as time window type and time window size. The resource host issues cross-resource notifications to the subscriber or its designated notification targets when expected changes on the target resources occur within a time window.
