The inner surface may define a chamber, an inlet, and an outlet. The housing may further include an embossing mount extending radially outward along the outer surface. The heating element may be disposed within the chamber to selectively heat air in a flow of heated air from the inlet to the outlet. The thermostat may be mounted on the outer surface of the housing. The thermostat may include a probe, a first mounting tab, and a second mounting tab. The probe may be positioned in thermal communication with the chamber. The first mounting tab may be secured to the embossing mount. The second mounting tab may be held against the outer surface.

The present disclosure describes a personal vaporizer which can detect whether or not a cartridge of the personal vaporizer has been breached. The cartridge includes a conductive shell. The conductive shell can include two or more conductors which are electrically isolated from each-other. Prior to operation, the personal vaporizer can use the two or more conductors to assess whether or not an outer shell of the cartridge has been breached. In some implementations, if it is determined that the cartridge has been breached, the personal vaporizer can shut down, or otherwise fail to operate normally.

A radiation heater apparatus has a plurality of heat radiation parts and a plurality of heating parts. A low thermal conductive part is formed between adjacent two of the heat radiation parts. The low thermal conductive part is provided with resin material which mainly forms a substrate part. The low thermal conductive part thermally isolates the heat radiation part by surrounding a periphery of the heat radiation part. As a body contacts with the surface of the apparatus, the thermal energy of specific heat radiation part directly under the body dissipates heat to the body. Furthermore, heat transfer from the periphery of the specific heat radiation part to the specific heat radiation part is reduced by the low thermal conductive part.

Disclosed embodiments describe approaches for warming a portion of a human body. The warming is based on heated apparel (e.g., a heated glove) coupled to an electrical power supply through a heater controller. The heated apparel (e.g., a glove) can be fabricated using a narrow knit electronic textile. A heater can be constructed from the narrow knit electronic textile. The heater is coupled to the heated apparel (e.g., a glove) for warming a portion (e.g., a hand) of a human body, wherein heating by the heater is accomplished using electrical power from the electrical power supply. The heater is controlled by a heater controller which is interposed between the heater and the electrical power supply.
