A power supply section for an e-vapor device includes a power supply section housing including a power supply portion and a heater assembly portion. The power supply portion includes a power supply, and the heater assembly portion includes a heating element and a support. The power supply is configured to selectively supply power to the heating element. The heating element includes a planar portion and first and second lead portions. The planar portion includes at least one filament. The first and second lead portions extend away from the planar portion. The support may support the heating element in the power supply section housing. The support includes a first slot and a second slot, and the first lead portion extends through the first slot, and the second lead portion extends through the second slot.
HIGH POWER DENSITY INSULATED EXHAUST HEATING SYSTEM
A heating apparatus for heating fluid includes a container body, a plurality of electric heater elements, and a support structure. The container body defines a perimeter of a flow path for a fluid flowing through the container body. The plurality heater elements are exposed to the flow path. Each heater element includes a resistance element, sheath, and insulating material disposed about the resistance element between the resistance element and the sheath. The support structure includes a plurality of support sheets. The heater elements extend transversely through each support sheet and contact each support sheet to restrict movement of the heater elements and support the heater elements in the container body. The support sheets contact the sheaths of the electric heater elements to increase heat transfer to the fluid flowing through the flow path. Opposite ends of each support sheet are connected to the container body.
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE WICK
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed to an electronic cigarette with improved aerosol delivery characteristics. For example, an electronic cigarette consistent with the present disclosure may include a wick capable of enhanced delivery of electronic cigarette juice to a heating element. In particular, the wick may be a stainless-steel, wire mesh. In some specific embodiments, the wick may be coated to improve its electrically insulative characteristics.

A cartridge for an aerosol-generating system is provided, including a liquid storage portion including a housing containing a liquid aerosol-forming substrate, the housing having an open end; and a heater assembly including: an electrical heating element configured to heat the substrate to form an aerosol, the heating element including a planar filament arrangement having one or more electrically conductive filaments, an electrically insulating substrate having a planar attachment face, the filament arrangement disposed on the planar attachment face, and connectors arranged at opposite ends of the heating element and forming two separate electrical contacts configured to apply power to the filament arrangement, at least a portion of the heater assembly is fluid-permeable, and the heater assembly is arranged over the open end of the housing.

The cigarette may include a first substrate section and a second substrate section which include a non-tobacco material sheet containing an aerosol generating material, and the aerosol generating device may include a single heater disposed so that a heating area of the first substrate section is different from a heating area of the second substrate section.

The present disclosure relates to an aerosol-delivery component, comprising: a vaporizer disposed in a vaporizing chamber; and an electrical contact for electrically connecting the vaporizer to a power supply, the contact extending through a base member of the component and into the vaporizing chamber. The component further comprises a sealing element configured to seal between the electrical contact and the base member.
Cartridge orientation for selection of a control function in a vaporization system
The present disclosure relates to aerosol delivery devices comprising a power unit and a cartridge that is configured for engagement with the power unit. In particular, the cartridge can be configured for rotation about a longitudinal axis thereof so as to be insertable into a chamber of the power unit in a plurality of different orientations. Further, the aerosol delivery device can include processing circuitry that can be configured for detection of the cartridge orientation and execution of a control function assigned to the respective orientation.

The system can include a heating element that can warm air in and around the heating element when actuated, a blower unit that can be in fluid communication with the heating element and that can generate a flow of the warm air when the heating element and the blower unit are actuated, and a forearm extension unit that can channel the flow of the warm air from the blower unit to warm a user's forearm when the user uses an associated machine or device to which the forearm extension unit is attached. The associated machine or device can be a wheelchair.

A heating apparatus for an electronic baking cigarette device includes a substrate and a heating element on the substrate. The substrate includes a root portion configured for fixing and an end portion for inserting a cigarette. The substrate includes a first region close to the root portion and a second region close to the end portion, the first region has a first thermal conductivity, the second region has a second thermal conductivity, and the first thermal conductivity is less than the second thermal conductivity. The heating element is located in the first region. The substrate adopts a gradient thermal conductivity layout, so that the heating apparatus can have advantages such as a higher energy utilization rate, a better temperature field, a large amount of vapor during vaping, and a better vaping taste.
