The present disclosure provides a self-regulating electric heating film, including: an insulating isolation layer, an interdigital electrode arranged on the surface of the insulating isolation layer, a positive temperature coefficient coating covering the surface of a secondary electrode of the interdigital electrode, and an insulating protective layer covering the surface of a primary electrode of the interdigital electrode, wherein the positive temperature coefficient coating is not in contact with the primary electrode of the interdigital electrode, and the insulating protective layer overlaps the positive temperature coefficient coating.

The present invention relates to a blackbody radiation source. The blackbody radiation source comprises a blackbody radiation cavity and a plurality of carbon nanotubes. The blackbody radiation cavity comprises an inner surface. The plurality of carbon nanotubes are located on the inner surface. An extending direction of each of the carbon nanotubes is substantially perpendicular.

A microwave-heating crisp plate includes a body defining a food-supporting surface and an outer surface opposite the food-supporting surface, and a coating applied over at least a portion of the outer surface. The coating includes a base polymer material defining a matrix, carbon nanotubes, and ferrite particles. The carbon nanotubes and the ferrite particles are dispersed throughout the matrix in a predetermined relative ratio and in a predetermined dispersal ratio with respect to the matrix.
CARBON NANOTUBE (CNT) OR CARBON ALLOTROBE BASED INDUCTION HEATING FOR AIRCRAFT ICE PROTECTION
A system for inductive heating of an aircraft surface includes a conductive outer layer configured to be located on an outer portion of the aircraft surface. The system further includes a carbon nanotube (CNT) yarn configured to receive and conduct electrical current. The system further includes an insulator located between the conductive outer layer and the CNT yarn such that the electrical current flowing through the CNT yarn generates induction heating on the conductive outer layer.
THIN FILM HEATER AND METHOD OF MAKING
A thin film heater is provided containing conductive nanofiller particles and a base material, wherein the conductive nanofiller particles are uniformly distributed within the base material and is soluble in water. When introduced to electric current, the thin film heater raises in temperature and lowers in resistance. A method of manufacturing a thin film heater is also provided, including the steps of mixing the conductive nanofiller particles with water to form a precursor, mixing the precursor with a base material, and applying the mixture to a substrate. Once the thin film heater cures on the substrate, the thin film heater will resistively heat the substrate when introduced to electric current.

A vehicle includes a defrost window. The defrost window includes a transparent substrate, a carbon nanotube film, a first electrode, a second electrode and a protective layer. The transparent substrate has a top surface. The carbon nanotube film is disposed on the top surface of the transparent substrate. The first electrode and the second electrode electrically connect to the carbon nanotube film and space from each other. The protective layer covers the carbon nanotube film.

A CNT heater is described comprising, in sequence, a first substrate, an adhesive layer, a protective layer, a CNT network layer, and a second substrate. Resistive heating is generated when a current passes through the CNT layer. The system has been found to provide improved stability and stability.

A sensor is disclosed. The sensor may comprise: a housing, comprising a transmitting coil; and an optic assembly, comprising a body supporting at least one receiving coil and a conductive film that is in electrical contact with the at least one receiving coil, wherein, when the transmitting coil is energized, the at least one receiving coil is wirelessly energized causing a temperature of the film to increase.
