A display apparatus comprising an anisotropic absorption layer and a display panel is disclosed. The anisotropic absorption layer is arranged at light-emitting side of the display panel. A predefined angle is formed between an absorption axis of the anisotropic absorption layer and a normal of the display panel. The anisotropic absorption layer is adapted to absorb ambient lights and transmit display lights from the display panel. The anisotropic absorption layer has a high absorptance to the ambient lights and a high transmittance to the display lights, such that the display apparatus can reduce influence of the ambient lights and improve energy usage.

The flat panel comprises a plurality of pixels, and in each pixel: the first ion transport layer and the first transparent electrode layer respectively generate a first hole and a first electron, and the organic light emitting layer generates white light; the second ion transport layer and the second transparent electrode layer respectively generate a second hole and a second electron, and the electrochromic layer changes color; a value of the second voltage is adjusted to make the electrochromic layer change to be three colors of red, green, blue, and to correspondingly generate red light, green light and blue light with the white light generated by the organic light emitting layer, and the generated red light, green light and blue light are color mixed to be kinds of colors.

An orthographic projection of the light source device on the substrate is within an orthographic projection of the thermosensitive device on the substrate. The compensation element is configured to compensate the luminous intensity of the pixel unit according to the luminous intensity of the pixel unit detected by the photosensitive device and the operating temperature of the photosensitive device measured by the thermosensitive device.

An optical display includes an optical display element including a second substrate, a first substrate facing the second substrate, a dummy region and a metal interconnection layer thereon. A first polarizing plate on an upper surface of the optical display element has a light shielding layer therein including printed patterns separated from each other. A first printed layer includes a first point at an interface between the display and non-display regions and a second point at a vertex closest to the first point. A second printed layer includes a third point at the interface and a fourth point at a vertex closes to the third point. The light shielding layer satisfies H≤P/2, where H is a minimum value among a distance from the interface to the second point and a distance from the interface to the fourth point, and P is a width of the dummy region.

An object of the invention is to provide a circuit technique which enables reduction in power consumption and high definition of a display device. A switch controlled by a start signal is provided to a gate electrode of a transistor, which is connected to a gate electrode of a bootstrap transistor. When the start signal is input, a potential is supplied to the gate electrode of the transistor through the switch, and the transistor is turned off. The transistor is turned off, so that leakage of a charge from the gate electrode of the bootstrap transistor can be prevented. Accordingly, time for storing a charge in the gate electrode of the bootstrap transistor can be shortened, and high-speed operation can be performed.

The transparent display apparatus includes an insulating layer stacked on the transparent cathode, and first and second transparent ITOs stacked on the insulating layer to deliver electromotive force onto an entire surface and to transmit or block the light of images according to the on/off state of a power source. The transparent display apparatus also includes an electro chromic layer provided between the first and the second transparent ITOs and including transparent and colorless chemicals. The electro chromic layer forms a color through oxidation-reduction reaction of the chemicals according to the on/off state of the power source to absorb or block the light of images. The transparent display apparatus further includes a substrate stacked on the second transparent ITO.
