System and methods for designing and manufacturing a bespoke protective sports helmet
A bespoke protective sports equipment to be worn by a player engaged in a sporting activity is provided. The bespoke sports equipment system includes methods for acquiring, storing and processing a player's unique data, namely the anatomical features of the body part against which the bespoke equipment is worn. The systems also includes methods of using the player's unique data to manufacture the bespoke protective equipment with a custom formed internal padding assembly that substantially corresponds to the player's unique data. The system and method allows for the design and manufacture of bespoke protective sports equipment that is purposely designed and manufactured to match the anatomical specifications of the player's body part.
Hexagonal floor and ceiling system for a vehicle
The present invention achieves technical advantages as a vehicle cabin, comprising a floor system formed of removable and reconfigurable floor segments extending from a vehicle frame, and a ceiling system formed of removable and reconfigurable ceiling segments disposed in the ceiling of the vehicle cabin. Floor segments that can be positioned to form a floor channel, therebetween. A fixture interface adapted to releasably secure a fixture to the floor system. The fixture can be slidably repositioned within the vehicle along the floor channel. One of the ceiling segments includes one or more of a lighting module, a ventilation outlet, a ventilation inlet, a display screen, or a touch control panel. The ceiling segments can be hexagonal.
Helmet/hood assembly structure and method of use thereof
A helmet/hood assembly includes a housing, a headband support assembly configured to hold the assembly on a human head, a face shield, and a flexible hood attached to the housing and to the face shield, with the assembly being received, stored, used, and disposed as a single unit. The headband support assembly pivots on the housing between a configuration suitable for shipping and storing the assembly and a configuration in which the assembly is worn. An accessory light powered by a battery may be held in place on the housing by magnetic attraction through the hood.
Systems and methods for monitoring a physiological parameter of persons engaged in physical activity
The present disclosure provides system and method for monitoring of at least one physiological parameter of a person engaged in a physical activity, for example, an impact received by a player engaged in a contact sport such as football. The system includes a monitoring unit that actively monitors the physiological parameter of the person, wherein the monitoring unit generates an alert event when the monitored physiological parameter exceeds a threshold of the parameter. The monitoring unit determines whether the parameter exceeds an over-exposure threshold, wherein said threshold is based upon both a single incidence or cumulative incidences.
Smart headlamp system using infrared sensing
A smart headlamp system and methods of use thereof are provided herein. A computer-implemented method includes automatically measuring orientation values attributed to a lighting system device, which includes one or more lighting sources and one or more infrared radiation sensors, worn by a human user, automatically measuring infrared radiation values detected within a given proximity of the lighting system device, and automatically modulating one or more of the lighting sources based at least in part on the measured orientation values and the measured infrared radiation values.
Hard hat lamp attachment system
A hard hat with symmetric front and back mounting ridges to support a headlamp is described. The hard hat provides mounting ridges to receive insertion slots of a rigid mounting bracket that fit around the ridges. The rigid mounting bracket includes channels to loop a strap through the channels and support a lamp on the bracket. The strap may include a hook and loop fastener system to enable attachment of a variety of lamps to the rigid support bracket. In this way, the hard hat can support a wide variety of headlamps attached to the rigid mounting bracket without destructive alterations to the hard hat. Clips may be added to the rigid mounting bracket to secure or lock the bracket in place during operation and prevent accidental knocks or jarring of the headlamp.
Apparatus and method for displaying an operational area
An apparatus and method for displaying an operational area to an operative of a host platform, said operational area being defined within an external real-world environment relative to said host platform, the apparatus comprising a viewing device (12) configured to provide to said operative, in use, a three-dimensional view of said external real-world environment, a display generating device for creating images at the viewing device, and a processor (32) comprising an input (34) for receiving real-time first data representative of a specified target and its location within said external real-world environment and configured to receive or obtain second data representative of at least one characteristic of said specified target, the processor (32) being further configured to: use said first and second data to calculate a geometric volume representative of a region of influence of said specified target relative to said real-world external environment and/or said host platform, generate three-dimensional image data representative of said geometric volume, and display a three dimensional model, depicting said geometric volume and created using said three-dimensional image data, on said display generating device for creating images at the viewing device, the apparatus being configured to project or blend said three-dimensional model within said view of said external real-world environment at the relative location therein of said specified target.
Protective headgear with adjustable air supply
Protective headgear including central, left lateral, and right lateral trunks, and which may include at least one external, remote handle for directing air flow.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A MULTI-USER REMOTE CONTROLLABLE SAFETY CAMERA
A remotely controllable wireless camera system that may be mounted on an emergency worker or on the emergency worker's helmet. The system includes a digital camera and an infrared camera. The system is connected to a network and live-streams video via the network and a server in real-time.
SAFETY HELMET WITH AN ADAPTER AND PROCESS FOR DETACHABLY FASTENING A MODULE
A safety helmet (100) includes a helmet shell (7), with a bearing support structure (2, 5, 9, 21), with a helmet-side coupling point and with a module adapter (1). The bearing support structure (2, 5, 9, 21) is fastened to the helmet shell (7) on an inside. A helmet-side adapter coupling point of the module adapter (1) can be connected detachably to the safety helmet-side adapter coupling point of the module adapter (1). The module adapter (1) holds a module at the safety helmet (100). A process for fastening a module detachably to a safety helmet (100).
