Construction helmet
A comfortable construction helmet easy to assembly and adjust is revealed. The construction helmet includes a support frame mounted therein and a head cushion fixed on the support frame for allowing a user's forehead to abut against. Left and right straps are extended from two sides of the support frame while an adjustment assembly is disposed between the left and right straps for adjusting the length of the straps. The adjustment assembly includes a base, a rotating member mounted in the base, an outer cap, and a toothed disc arranged over the rotating member and positioned in the outer cap. Two connecting strip are extended from two sides of the rotating member and connected to the left and right straps respectively. The toothed disc which is driven by the outer cap further drives the rotating member to rotate for changing the length of the connecting strips.
DEFLECTOR SELECTIVELY CONNECTABLE TO A HELMET, HELMET HAVING SAME AND HELMET HAVING ADJUSTABLE PEAK
A deflector selectively connectable to a helmet is disclosed. The helmet has a helmet shell and a jaw shield defining at least one jaw aperture configured to permit air flow therethrough. The deflector has a deflector body and at least one connecting protrusion receivable in the at least one jaw aperture to restrict air flow. A helmet having the deflector is disclosed. A helmet having a helmet shell, left and right holders having first and second connectors and a peak adjustable between first and second configurations is disclosed. The peak has left and right connecting portions, each having third and fourth connectors. The first connectors are rotationally connected to the third connectors. The second connectors are selectively connected to the fourth connectors in one of at least two positions. The second connectors are at a first position in the first configuration, and at a second position in the second configuration.
Bite Deterring Helmet Assembly
A bite deterring helmet assembly for inhibiting a child from biting another child includes a helmet that can be worn on a head of a child. The helmet has a pair of adjustment elements each being integrated into the helmet for adjusting a fit of the helmet on the child’s head. A face bar is coupled to the helmet to inhibit the child from biting another child. A pair of ears is each of the ears is coupled to and extends outwardly from the helmet to present the ornamental appearance of animal ears. A chin strap is movably coupled to the helmet to extend beneath the child’s chin when the helmet is worn. A teething ring is suspended from the face bar and the teething ring can be chewed by the child for soothing teething pain.
LIGHT-EMITTING SYSTEMS FOR HEADGEAR
A light-emitting system is provided which is removably attachable to headgear for personal illumination to enhance visibility of the user to others. The light-emitting system includes a housing that defines a receiving aperture and is configured to surround a portion of the headgear when the light-emitting system is removably attached to the headgear for use. The light-emitting system further includes at least one lens and a plurality of lighting elements coupled to the annular housing which are configured to selectively generate a halo or at least a partial halo of light that radiates outwardly away from the annular housing through the at least one lens to provide enhanced personal illumination.
Protective helmet
A protective helmet, particularly a motorbike protective helmet, comprising an outer shell (1) for the distribution of impact forces, the outer shell (1) comprising a chin shell region (2) for covering a chin part of the person wearing the protective helmet, wherein the outer shell (1) comprises a viewing opening (3) arranged above the chin shell region (2), for the person wearing the protective helmet to see through, and the protective helmet has a slot (4a) with a slot shape for interlockingly receiving an electronic module (5a) corresponding to the slot shape, said slot (4a) comprising a slot opening substantially bordering an edge of the viewing opening (3). The protective helmet comprises another slot (4b) having another slot opening substantially bordering the edge of the viewing opening (3) and having the slot shape for interlockingly receiving another electronic module (5b) corresponding to the slot shape.
MAGNETIC FASTENING DEVICE
A magnetic fastening device for releasably fastening a first unit and a second unit to each other. The first unit has a first unit abutment surface. The second unit having a second unit abutment surface. The first unit abutment surface and the second unit abutment surface are adapted for abutment against each other. The device includes at least one pair of magnets including first magnet allocated to the first abutment surface and a second magnet allocated to the second abutment surface. The first magnet and the second magnet exert an attractive force to each other. The first unit may be or include a communication device and the second unit is a helmet or a separate unit permanently fixed to a helmet.
Helmet Accessory Mounting System
A helmet accessory mounting system includes a mounting device configured to couple to an outer surface of a side of a helmet. The mounting device includes a plurality of mounting locations configured to removeably couple to at least one accessory. A plurality of the plurality of mounting locations each includes an electrical node. A power supply is coupled to the mounting device. An electrical supply line electrically couples the power supply to each of the electrical nodes and the electrical supply line is contained at least partially within the mounting device.
Hard hat lamp attachment system
A hard hat with symmetric front and back mounting ridges to support a headlamp is described. The hard hat provides mounting ridges to receive insertion slots of a rigid mounting bracket that fit around the ridges. The rigid mounting bracket includes channels to loop a strap through the channels and support a lamp on the bracket. The strap may include a hook and loop fastener system to enable attachment of a variety of lamps to the rigid support bracket. In this way, the hard hat can support a wide variety of headlamps attached to the rigid mounting bracket without destructive alterations to the hard hat. Clips may be added to the rigid mounting bracket to secure or lock the bracket in place during operation and prevent accidental knocks or jarring of the headlamp.
Helmet wearing determination method, helmet wearing determination system, helmet wearing determination apparatus, and program
The present invention is directed to a helmet wearing determination system including a imaging means that is installed in a predetermined position and images a two-wheel vehicle that travels on a road; and a helmet wearing determination means that processes an image imaged by the imaging means, estimates a rider head region corresponding to a head of a person who rides on the two-wheel vehicle that travels on the road, compares image characteristics of the rider head region with image characteristics according to the head at a time when a helmet is worn or/and at a time when a helmet is not worn, and determines whether or not the rider wears the helmet.
