INTEGRATED MAGNET BASED MOUNTING SYSTEM
The disclosed technology includes methods, systems, and apparatus related to utilizing high strength magnets to adhere accessories, decorative units, and other features to a helmet without compromising the safety features of the helmet. The magnets may be attached in magnet-based mounting systems to the helmet or integrated into the helmet. The mounting systems may include rare-earth magnets and high strength adhesives to adhere to a helmet surface and maintain attachment during high speed or contact, such as during sports activities. In some embodiments, accessories, decorative units, and other features include electronics for lighting, music, video, GPS, or other features.
HELMET STABILIZATION APPARATUS
A helmet stabilization system and apparatus for reducing the incidence of whiplash and neck injuries while wearing a helmet, such as in contact sports. The invention includes a helmet mount; a base mount configured for attachment to a shoulder harness; and a flex rod interconnectable between the helmet mount and the base mount. The flex rod, when interconnected between the helmet mount and the base mount provides a resistance to an extension or a compression sequence responsive to a contact imparted on the helmet. An oobleck may be provided in a coupling between the flex rod and the base mount to permit voluntary head movements of the user and to provide a resistance responsive to an impact force.
INTELLIGENT HARD HAT
Implementations of an intelligent hard hat are provided. In some implementations, the intelligent hard hat comprises a hard hat or hard hat shell and one or more of a lighting component, an audio component, a video component, a communication component, a conditioning component, a power source component, and/or a control component or computer system.
In some implementations, a method of using the intelligent hard hat comprises a lineman putting on the intelligent hard hat. In some implementations, the method comprises the lineman working on an overhead utility line while wearing the intelligent hard hat. In some implementations, the method comprises the lineman using one or more features of the intelligent hard hat while working on the overhead line.
Beverage Dispensing Ring Toss Headwear
A beverage dispensing headwear having a ring toss shaft affixed thereto. A pair of container holders is affixed on opposing sides of a helmet. A three-way valve is fastened to the helmet, wherein a first and second intake tube are fluidly connected to the three-way valve on a proximal end and are configured to be inserted into a container held within one of the container holders on a distal end. An output tube is also fluidly connected to the three-way valve on a proximal end of the output tube. The output tube extends below the rim of the helmet at a distal end, wherein the distal end of the output tube is configured to be sucked on by a user. Additionally, shaft is affixed to the helmet.
System and methods for designing and manufacturing a bespoke protective sports helmet
A bespoke protective sports helmet to be worn by a player engaged in a sporting activity is provided. The bespoke helmet includes i) systems and methods for acquiring, storing and processing a player's unique data, namely the player's anatomical features, where that player is to wear a protective sports helmet, (ii) for systems and methods of using the player's unique data to manufacture a protective sports helmet with a custom formed internal padding assembly that substantially corresponds to the player's unique data, and (iii) a protective sports helmet designed using the acquired and processed unique player's data and including the custom formed internal padding assembly that provides improved fit and comfort for the player. The system and method allows for the design and manufacture of a bespoke protective sports helmet that is purposely designed and manufactured to match the player's anatomical specifications.
Mounting Rail for Attaching Accessories to a Safety Helmet
A hinge mechanism for attaching ear accessories to a helmet allows an accessory to be attached at a point outside the helmet shell utilizing, for example, a slidable mounting rail, and to reach under the edge of the helmet shell so that the accessory is supported in contact with the wearer's head. The hinge mechanism is well suited for use in connection with military helmets that have a “bulge” or protrusion over the ear.

Body mounted monitoring system and method
Apparatus, systems, and methods for monitoring head acceleration and/or forces acting thereon are disclosed. A device for monitoring an acceleration or a force acting on the head of a user includes a flexible article adapted to be worn on the head of the user; and a monitoring assembly coupled to the flexible article. The monitoring assembly includes a sensor for measuring a force on the head and transmitting data relating to the force, the sensor disposed proximate to the head, a processor adapted to receive the force data from the sensor, and a flexible strip operatively connecting the sensor and the processor.
Blow-molded log assembly for electric fireplaces
A manufactured blow-molded log assembly created from a thermo-mold polymer that is shapable using a blow-molding process of inserting an ingot into a blow-molding tool and injecting heated gas into the ingot to substantially shape the ingot into the manufactured log. The log assembly may then be removed from the blow molding tool and painted. The log assembly can include one or more, but preferably, a plurality, of such manufactured logs. The process may be used to create a log assembly that includes multiple manufactured logs, connected together or produced separately and stacked or otherwise arranged to simulate the appearance of real logs, which can be positioned inside an electric fireplace.
Importing and analyzing external data using a virtual reality welding system
A real-time virtual reality welding system including a programmable processor-based subsystem, a spatial tracker operatively connected to the programmable processor-based subsystem, at least one mock welding tool capable of being spatially tracked by the spatial tracker, and at least one display device operatively connected to the programmable processor-based subsystem. The system is capable of simulating, in virtual reality space, a weld puddle having real-time molten metal fluidity and heat dissipation characteristics. The system is further capable of importing data into the virtual reality welding system and analyzing the data to characterize a student welder's progress and to provide training.
