CABLE
A cable includes a flexible coated wire, a multi joint support member, and a flexible sheath member that covers the multi joint support member and the coated wire. The multi-joint support member is formed by pivotally coupling adjacent ones of a plurality of link members arranged in series. Turning of the multi joint support member in a first direction in a direction intersecting a serial direction is allowed until becoming equal to a predetermined radius of curvature and turning of the multi joint support member in a second direction, which is opposite to the first direction, is restricted.
MONITORING AND ALERT SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIAL CABLES
The present invention refers to the field of industrial automation, with particular reference to industrial robotics and handling in general. In this field, in the present case, cable chains or sheaths for transporting and containing cables, cable bundles or flexible hoses are particularly relevant, said cables or hoses being led to the robotic or handling systems in which they are used. It is well known to those skilled in the art that the cables or hoses transported and housed in sheaths or chains are protected from external agents that could cause abrasions or breakages, but are still subjected to mutual rubbing and rubbing against the inner wall of said sheaths or chains. Moreover, the environments in which said cable means are used are harsh environments, so that the cable sheaths or chains are also subjected to shocks and strong external stresses and said stresses may, and often do, reverberate and cause equivalent damages to the cables or hoses they contain. The object of the present invention is a monitoring and alert system to check the actual state of use and wear of an industrial cable.
Communication cables with separators having bristles
A cable may include a plurality of twisted pairs of individually insulated conductors and a separator positioned between the twisted pairs. The separator may include a longitudinally extending spine positioned between the plurality of twisted pairs, and a plurality of bristles may radially extend from the spine. A first portion of the bristles may extend between one or more sets of adjacent twisted pairs, and a second portion of the bristles may be compressed towards the spine by one or more of the plurality of twisted pairs. Additionally, a jacket may be formed around the twisted pairs and the separator.
High frequency AC-powered drain cleaning and inspection apparatus and methods
Systems, devices, and methods for drain cleaning using high voltage, high frequency AC electrical power supplied through a video push-cable are disclosed. In one embodiment, a drain cleaning system may include a cable for carrying electrical control and/or data signals as well as alternating current (AC) power at a high voltage and high frequency relative to AC mains frequencies.
HIGH FREQUENCY AC-POWERED DRAIN CLEANING AND INSPECTION APPARATUS & METHODS
Systems, devices, and methods for drain cleaning using high voltage, high frequency AC electrical power supplied through a video push-cable are disclosed. In one embodiment, a drain cleaning system may include a cable for carrying electrical control and/or data signals as well as alternating current (AC) power at a high voltage and high frequency relative to AC mains frequencies.
Cable unit
A cable unit is provided comprising: a jacket comprising at least one cable housing and at least one support housing; the or each cable housing having a tubular structure, extending in a longitudinal direction, each support housing in the plurality of support housings having a tubular structure, extending in the longitudinal direction, wherein the at least one support housing being disposed on one side of the at least one cable housing; and at least one support element retained within each support housing of the plurality of support housings, wherein the at least one support element retained within each support housing of the plurality of support housings comprises at least one portion that has an arcuate cross section in the width direction.
MULTICORE CABLE
A multicore cable is provided with coaxial cables, each of which includes an inner conductor, an insulator covering around the inner conductor, and an outer conductor arranged around the insulator. The outer conductor is exposed, and the outer conductors of some of the coaxial cables are covered by grounding conductors that are to be electrically grounded. Each of the outer conductors of the coaxial cables is electrically grounded by contacting the grounding conductor or the outer conductor of another one of the coaxial cables.
Composite cable mounted in industrial robot
Suppression of the effects of electromagnetic waves on the signals which are transmitted by signal lines and manufacturing composite cables more compactly and with higher efficiency have been sought. For this, provision is made of a composite cable 30 comprised of a center member 32 for supplying the fluid or wire material used for the work of the industrial robot, first signal lines 34 which are arranged at the outer circumferential side of the center member 32, a tubular shield 36 which surrounds the first signal lines 34 and shields them from electromagnetic waves, power lines 40 which are arranged at the outer circumferential side of the shield 36, and a tubular sheath 42 which surrounds the power lines 40.
Fluorinated elastomer composition and method for its production, molded product, cross-linked product, and covered electric wire
To provide a fluorinated elastomer composition which is excellent in flexibility, heat resistance and flame retardance, and a molded product, cross-linked product and covered electric wire, using such a fluorinated elastomer composition. A fluorinated elastomer composition comprising a tetrafluoroethylene/propylene copolymer (a), an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (b), an ethylene copolymer (c) containing epoxy groups and a flame retardant (d), wherein the mass ratio [(a)/(b)] of (a) to (b) is from 70/30 to 40/60, the mass ratio [(b)/(c)] of (b) to (c) is from 100/0.1 to 100/10, and the content of (d) is from 0.1 to 30 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the total content of (a), (b) and (c).
